Shouldn't they immediately follow the post content right before all other features? Otherwise a reader might miss them and wonder where to continue. To me it looks like the post ends before the rating feature and I worry a reader might stop looking for other content or start to wonder why the post is missing the information.

I'm not sure if this is a Pilcrow theme specific issue or applies to all themes on WordPress.com. Could this be fixed so that the pagination immediately follows the post content?

Confit is designed to have a vertical menu listing. Adding custom CSS with Custom Design subscription, you might be able to have a horizontal menu but the CSS rules wouldn't be just a few lines because you would need to re-style it completely. I'm happy to assist you if you are up for the subscription but it maybe better to choose a different theme that has a horizontal menu.

(Just a note though: Right now, the image on the left is left-aligned, and the one on the right is right-aligned, thats how I got the way the home page looks)

However, is it possible to control the spacing between the images and the text that starts after it? After entering the above code, the text starts immediately after the image, what needs to be done if I want to control the spacing between the two?

If the text beside the images does not occupy the same amount of space that the image beside it does then the text wrapping will continue and the images and text that follow will have a staggered appearance.

• Align-left means position left, with the rest of the content wrapping around the right side of the image.
• Align-right means position right, with the rest of the content wrapping around the left side of the image.
• Align-center means position center, with no wrap-around (= the rest of the content below the image).

Every theme has a maximum displayed image width http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/23/maximum-image-width/ so it's important to keep that in mind when posting multiple images side-by-side. If you want two images to be side by side on the same line start by setting the alignment of both images to left. To prevent the staggered effect what you do is insert the following snippet of code into the HTML editor after each image/text pair:
<p style="clear:both;">TEXT HERE</p>

Another greater problem on my Home page is in the formatting that follows these images. The text invariably ends up between the images rather than going below them, irrespective of entering carriage return. At the back-end of this page, I have entered the carriage return atleast a 100 times to get the space that exists below the image on my Home page.

While the theme of my blog is Hatch, I've encountered this problem on various other themes too.

Any help/ guidance on this would be appreciated.

The ads on my blogs homepage are horribly placed. They cover my content and side widgets, and are not at all aligned with the structure of my blog's theme. Because of the placement, the ads are a total distraction and are impairing the quality of my site's appearance.

Does anyone know how I can move the ads (to the left) so they are properly aligned with my homepage content?

I've realised where the advertisements are located have changed recently, along with the number of advertises. So now they appear on the sidebar, bottom of the first post and the banner, I think it's too much.

I'd prefer it if advertisement were placed at the end of each post and only one appearing on the home page. Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks.

Q: Can I have fewer ads per page, more ads per page or different placement of the ads?
A: Some bloggers would like different ad placements. WordAds is constrained in offering unlimited options as we need to customize each of the dozens of WordPress.com themes to accommodate ads.

I also sent a heads up to the theme designer, Towfiq. I don't see the theme on the developing list of compatible themes for Word Ads.

I was hoping to not have to look through all 182 Themes to see if one might possibly work this way, especially because I know it is not the usual way it works.

I was hoping someone could either tell me it can't possibly be done, or tell me that it can be done and then explain how.
