I have been utilizing the twitter widget pertaining to my blog for weeks now yet when I logged onto my blog today the widget was inactivated. I attempted to delete the widget and reactivate it, I changed the twitter domain name and even the location of the widget on my blog. Despite my attempts, when accessing my blog, the twitter widget still appears as follows:

"Error: Twitter did not respond. Please wait a few minutes and refresh this page."

It's possible to override the green text in the mobile theme with CSS. You'll need the Custom Design upgrade to do this.

To see a preview of the fix, go to Appearance > Custom Design > CSS and paste this code into the Custom CSS Editor:

body.mobile-theme .entry-content p span {
   color: #000 !important;
}

Next, after pasting the CSS code, look for the "Publish" box, to the right of the CSS Editor. Find "Mobile Compatible" and change the setting to "Yes". Then click "Preview".

If you decide to purchase the upgrade, you'll be able to save the CSS changes. Let me know if you have other questions.

As you can see from my link, my theme is Andrea, and the color scheme is blue with green text, which is fairly easy to read. On the mobile version of the site, however, the text is still green, but the background is white, which makes it hard to read. Is it possible to change the background color so it matches the background color on the regular site, or will I just have to change the text color to make it easier to read for mobile users?

I happily bought and used my .cpom domain through wordpress.com, so that instead of sh1ra.wordpress.com it'll redirect to shiracarmel.com

I recently decided to expand my site, and now I'm on the bluehost server. I changed the DNS so that shiracarmel.com redirects to my bluehost account, but would like to link from there to my old blog.

problem is, I sh1ra.wordpress.com doesn't seem to exist anymore, it redirects to shiracarmel.com, (which isn't my blog anymore!)

what do I do?!

If your post is Freshly Pressed you will get a flood of one hit wonders that skew your stats by creating a high bounce rate and never return.
