Los profesores y estudiantes que queremos que la universidad pública esté mejor damos la cara y nos la jugamos. Hay que tener valentía para no ser gris o encapuchado, para no ser uno de los hombres grises que quisieran destruir nuestra universidad pública o uno de los encapuchados que la están destruyendo.

Uno de los puntos más graves de la capucha es la *asimetría moral* y *efectiva* que genera. Quien está encapuchado o encapuchada ve mi cara, yo no veo la suya. No puedo saber a priori quién es – es como un jugador que entra con trampa al juego (algo absolutamente inaceptable entre gente que quiere construir un país que algún día pueda ser llamado decente).

Hay similitudes inmediatas entre un encapuchado y *esbirro*, un *verdugo*, un *remitente anónimo* y (agrego a la lista) un *miembro del Ku Klux Klan* o un *miembro de congregaciones ultracatólicas* que van con capuchas moradas. Un encapuchado también es igual a un acusador con cara cubierta, como aquellos que recibían sus recompensas de Uribe al principio de su gobierno – iban con la cara tapada a que Uribe les diera sus diez millones de pesos. Ese programa era tan vergonzoso y degradante que incluso un gobierno tan vergonzoso y degradante como el de Uribe lo tuvo que retirar. Los encapuchados de la Universidad Nacional deberían darse cuenta de lo uribistas que se ven con sus capuchas.

Hay similitudes mediatas entre un encapuchado y un evaluador anónimo: la asimetría de nuevo vale ahí. Aunque el evaluador anónimo sucede dentro de un sistema (publicación, examen) para garantizar ecuanimidad, existen voces críticas de esos sistemas.

Hay un tercer caso de anonimato/máscara, un poco distinto de los anteriores: los jueces sin rostro. En lugares con mafias fuertes y agresivísimas, como Italia o Colombia, surgió la figura de esos jueces para poder llevar a cabo procesos de la sociedad contra criminales, sin comprometer la seguridad de un juez o de su familia. En ese caso, el anonimato es una parte (desagradable pero aparentemente necesaria, por un tiempo por lo menos) de una labor profesional, análoga a la máscara que debe llevar algún geólogo que entre a una mina por razones laborales y en la mina haya gases tóxicos: debe ponerse una máscara que proteja su vida para poder llevar a cabo su trabajo. Igual un astronauta o un biólogo que entre a un ambiente con bacterias letales – deben usar un traje especial que proteja sus vidas. Los jueces anónimos visten un traje que incluye (necesariamente, ante la agresividad brutal de la mafia) el anonimato para poder llevar a cabo su trabajo.

Los capuchos de la Nacional están al lado de los esbirros, los verdugos, los remitentes anónimos, los miembros del Ku Klux Klan o demás entidades fascistas, los miembros de congregaciones ultracatólicas (de la extrema derecha), los delatores del uribismo. Triste compañía. Así serán juzgados por la historia cuando la Universidad recupere sus valores públicos, abiertos, libres, de debate de ideas dando la cara: como la vergüenza que asoló e intentó destruir la universidad pública de un país que no tiene segundas oportunidades.

It seems that the Colombian National University will go again to a strike. While all it points out to the total loss of this semester, I am collecting all broad and different advices, in order to think about this subject.

1. ¿Do you think that the activities of hooded (masked) protester which close public universities is legitimate? ¿Why?

3. ¿Which similarities/differences do you find between a hooded (masked) protester and the following peolpe? ¿Which of the following activities do you consider legitimate? (a) Anonymous refferee.
