I have linked my wordpress blog posts with my facebook page. My blog posts contain only polls. However, when I publicize the posts on the page the message below gets displayed:

Is there any way I can remove this message ?

Hi all, and thank you for taking a look at this post.

The issue I am having is with my Polldaddy poll results.
Example: I have a poll up that I can vote on, but when I refresh the page the results arent showing, it wants me to vote again.

I thought it might have something to do with my browser cookies but I tested this theory by clicking an ESPN poll, refreshed, and the results were there.

I visited a site (http://longboxgraveyard.com/2012/12/12/78-longbox-soapbox-fall-2012/) that had a polldaddy poll in it; I didn't enter the poll, read the page, made a comment then left. When I returned to my own site I saw that that same poll appeared at the bottom of my pages. Why is it there? And how do I get rid of it (I have tried looking at 'widgets' - nothing there)?

My polls have disappeared... all 3+ years of them, including the currently-running poll, which is visible on my post ( at but not functional. I get this message when I click on feedback>polls : "You haven't used our fancy plugin to create any polls for this blog!/Why don't you go ahead and get started on that?" on AuntieKate.wordpress.com. Tried another blog I administer (which I have never used polls on), hsosc.wordpress.com, and when I click on feedback>polls, I get a different message: "To use polls in WordPress, you will need an account with our sister product, Polldaddy.com."
I have tried in Firefox and in Opera, as administrator and as not. The "view results" doesn't work, and the "Polldaddy.com" link within the poll's layout doesn't, either.
This have anything to do with http://wordpress.com/ having changed its appearance since a day or two ago? Kinda embarrassing, when I am urging my readers to vote... ;(

I have tried making the poll as narrow as possible and it still doesn't work. The narrowest i can make it is 150px, but i don't know how big my sidebar is though. I have put polls on my blog before and they have worked, so i don't know why it doesn't work now.

I have created a Polldaddy poll and pasted the WordPress.com shortcode into a text widget on my sidebar, but all i see is the title of the widget and below it is nothing. I am using the Mystique theme.

That's great - thanks for following it up :)

Just checked it on an iPad, and not only does it work now, but it just reinforces how cool infinite scroll is. On a really large site/one that has been around for a while, old posts get lost - buried under all the new ones. Infinite scroll gives people the motivation just to keep going back and back, seeing what was written over the years.

If there was ever an option (widget button?) to be able to see a blog from its first post and read it chronologically, infinitely scrolling forward in time, that would be awesome!

Polls are no longer visible, nor even an indication that they are missing/hidden. On my blog, if you scroll down to the posts made between April 30 and May 4, there were about 6-7 polls in these posts that are no longer visible (unless you know to click on the post itself to display it, and the comments).

It helps to have a specific example: I tested this by going to http://stusshed.com/ and scrolling until I saw the "Safety Week Thursday (Miscellaneous Shop Safety)" post. I couldn't see the poll during scrolling, but I can see the poll if I go directly to http://stusshed.com/2012/05/03/safety-week-thursday-miscellaneous-shop-safety/

I will see what I can find out about this.

Curious - does infinite scroll break the websites that turn blogs into books?

I doubt it since they probably pull data post by post or in a feed.

Just how far back can someone scroll before it becomes an issue?

I've scrolled through hundreds of posts in one go during testing sessions.

What happens if I scroll and scroll and scroll, until the front page is huge, then hit the print button?

A ton of pages would print!

My theme has just become enabled with infinite scrolling, which I am certainly happy about (especially given that it is optional), and am certainly planning to leave enabled at this point. I think it could be pretty cool!

However, a bug I have noticed.

Polls are no longer visible, nor even an indication that they are missing/hidden. On my blog, if you scroll down to the posts made between April 30 and May 4, there were about 6-7 polls in these posts that are no longer visible (unless you know to click on the post itself to display it, and the comments). I'd suggest that is a bug, given all other content is preserved from the old display format to the infinite scroll format.

Is there a way around this, is this the new reality, or something that will get rectified?

I have also noticed an inconsistency with how Google search (particularly image search) works with a blog with infinite scroll enabled, but I haven't been able to duplicate the event - was on an iPad so that may be very relevant, so will investigate and report separately if I can duplicate it.

Thank you so much. The first instructions don't mention photos. The second one shows a media tab that looks different from what I see in WordPress. I'm beginning to wonder if the free version just doesn't support adding a photo to a poll.

When I click on the image tab I do see, it just thinks for an awfully long time. I will check on the photo file size.

Other thoughts?

When I click on the "add photo" icon when setting up a Polldaddy poll, I am able to select an image from my media library, but it does not display when previewing the poll within a post. What do I have to do to add a photo to a polldaddy poll? Thanks.

What makes you think so? You can add as many questions as you like. Easier in the HTML editor.

thanks, auxclass. could you be more specific? if i go to PAGE, click ADD A CUSTOM FORM, there is an option where you can choose FIELD TYPE on the right of the form. There you can select Drop Down and choose the answers you want to offer.
But there are only 9 field/questions possible in the form. I need around 25-30... Any idea? Thanks

First off, many thanks for coming back so quickly... I tried Scribd... it does upload the questionnaire form onto WP, however, it doesn't allow other people to choose their answers, they can't activate/choose radio/option button.

I tried Polldaddy poll... It looks pretty good.

I have 20 questions in the questionnaire. In the polldaddy poll, can you have an option to put more than 1 question? Also, can you rename ''vote'' button to 'submit' button and have it only after all questions have been completed opposed after every single one?
