Recently I installed wordpress on my host website. every once in a while when using a mobile device to access the site it redirects to porn. What is going on with that? It seems like this is a common issue (http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/visitors-on-mobile-devices-are-redirected-to-xxx-site?replies=5#post-1235111).

This is the site: mywodhq.com/feed/ where the problem is happening.

How do I stop this and prevent it further in the future?!

Timethief - thanks for your response. I had hinted heavily towards the site, but eventually I felt it necessary to provide the link, in order for people to quickly and easily see what I was talking about. I also put up a link to a couple of organisations - IWF and CEOP - and directed people to complain. After a few days, an offensive piece was removed from the site. I have left the connections, as the whole site should come down, and only many complaints will achieve something. Thanks for your time.

It's never necessary to post an active link to such a site. One can provide enough information for others to locate it themselves without linking to it..

Thanks for the answer. I'm not sure where I stand legally, and I hope I am within the WordPress tos. However, should I not be, will I get some sort of warning from WordPress, or is there a risk that my blog will get deleted? Thanks for your attention.

My blog is dealing with some borderline legal stuff, and I'm not sure where I stand. For information purposes, I have felt the necessity to provide a link to a porn site (is that OK?) and a censored picture of a girl involved in a scandal. I would like some guidance. Also - if I get reported, will I get a warning to remove any incriminating stuff, or will I just get banned/deleted from WordPress? By the way - the pictures are not too appalling. I may also be releasing information that the police might not want to be shown. I am in a bit of a quandary. Thanks for your help.

I certainly will report, since I'm sure I'm not the only person having this problem. So far, all my spam's been blocked, but it's the typical "Windows 7 Product Key" and "Hermes bags" variety.

You should try sending your self some profane messages through the contact form to see if it is working.

Thanks so much for your input! I read the same thing as Houstonweaver, but thought I'd post to obtain other user's advice about it's actual functionality.

Yesterday, I entered some very vulgar words into the Blacklist. I'll keep monitoring the spam and see if Akismet does start to filter out Contact Forms that contain those words.

I'll be sure to follow up on this forum with any information I think may be of interest to you.

The support document indicates that the WordPress.com Contact Form does use Akismet.

When a user submits your contact form, the feedback will be filtered through Akismet to make sure it’s not spam. Any legitimate feedback will then be emailed to you, and added to your feedback management area.

Unfortunately, I don't think it does affect the contact form at all. Akismet isn't operative on emails, just comments.

I'm just sending them to spam in my email and finding that since they generally come from the same few addresses, it's gradually learning to pre-filter them out.

Akismet is doing a great job, but I'm still having a slight problem with some pretty graphic comments being made via a contact form on one of my pages. Since I'm not the form's only recipient, I'm particularly concerned about the problem.

If I were to type certain, very specific words (like the F Word) into the Comments Blacklist section, will that help Akismet filter out the porn spam that's currently getting thru?

Is an anti-spam filter - the staff used to disable it for some of us that helped a lot in the forum - I don't type fast enough to run into it much - @TT used to get hammered by it a lot.

Go to the front of the blog in question - and on top left hand corner
there is r is a drop-down menu
One link in that menu is "Report a mature"
Click it and complete the form and submit it to Staff.

I've been seeing gay porn posts as I searched "gay" and looking for posts on gay issues, not gay porn. Is there a way to block these posts for my view? Is there a way to report this blog? Thanks for your help!

Links to explicit content in this context would be OK but we would ask that you not post the images or videos directly in your blog. Your blog will need to be marked as Mature.

Descriptions of the material in this context would be OK.
