When you click it, you'll get a list of your recent posts. Does the post you emailed appear there? If so, is it set as Public or is it a Draft?

All it does is convert the piece originally written in Markdown into HTML and send it via one of my personal email addresses to the Post-by-Email generated address.

The first few attempts were working fine. Now that I've updated the script a bit, anything I send via email is not appearing on the Posts list. I know the script is functional because it works on Blogger.

The script was intended to be a learning exercise in Python coding, so it's pretty harmless. Here's the source if anyone wishes to look.

The only thing I can tell you to do is not post "--" in your post-by-email posts.

Are you trying to add a line between your header and the content? If so, you could always enter equals signs "==" to separate your content instead.

Post by email will automatically remove any email signatures that match the standard signature block pattern:

(that is dash dash space)

I am trying to auto-post-by email and unfortunately many of the bulletins include the -- just after the bulletin header. The result is that the bulletin header is posted but the rest of the content is removed.

gmail requires a verification code for the account to which email is being autoforwarded. Without access to the post-by-email account, its impossible to retrieve the verification code.
