From the Theme Showcase page for Forever:

On the home page, posts with Featured Images assigned will display with the excerpt, whereas posts without Featured Images will display the full content.

This is not something that can be changed in the theme itself, but not setting a Featured Image will allow the theme to display full post content.

You may also want to turn off the option to show your four most recent posts in a grid style on the home page; you can do so under Appearance -> Theme Options.

For the post titles, it looks like you've set a dark color successfully, but the font face is very thin, which could make it seem gray. Try increasing the font weight:

While I LOVE the Forever theme, I less than thrilled that it seems to pick and choose which of my posts to show the full text of and which to summarize with a read more link. I don't see a way to fix this? I don't really want the viewer to have to keep clicking away to read the content.

In addition, I would to have the post titles much darker but no matter how many times I adjust the colors, it comes out light gray. I didn't pay $30 for a theme upgrade not to be able to have posts formatted as I wish.

PLEASE HELP...

I've been trying to get an answer for this for 3 weeks now with no answers whatsoever. My posts have galleries inside, however when I view them in reader, there isn't a link to view the gallery or even a preview of the gallery itself. It's just a blank header area with text. This happens to some post but not to others.. what's going on?

Prior to the last upgrade to the media library and gallery management windows it was the first picture from the gallery that appeared in the corresponding post on the blog homepage. Now it seems to be a random selection from the gallery.

I've tried loading the image I want as a "featured image" but this simply means both the featured image I want and the randomly selected image from the gallery appear on the homepage post.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you mean "WEEKEND ROUND UP," it looks like you've used the "more" tag to shorten the post on the front page, but it was posted using the Standard Post Format.
