I've noticed that, since the updates to the add media functions, my post information is often somehow displaced by my photos. The post information looks like it's part of the body of my post now. Here's an example: http://jackteddyandus.wordpress.com/2008/04/25/lately/

I liked it better when the post info was automatically moved down below the text. Is there something I can do to prevent this from happening in the future and fix the existing posts?

Also, I've noticed that, since the change i the way you upload photos, my portrait-oriented photos are no longer automatically rotated for me. What's up with that?

And, by the way - I've tried to send this 3 times and it hasn't worked. Hopefully 4th time's a charm.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have a link to your blog? It might help if we can see a post to see what you mean.

I think what you're describing is an aspect of the theme you're using; some themes have different ways of displaying the post date, time, etc, so it might be overlapping. You can change that with the CSS upgrade but it's not recommended as it also removes things you need (categories, tags, etc). The easiest way is to change themes to one which doesn't display the post info the same way. You can look at the different themes in Dashboard > Presentation > Themes. Hope that helps.

On my blog: mymidnightmuse.wordpress.com the post enjoy a nice wide margin, with the Post Info window at the top of the post, right underneath the post title. Today I posted a long one, using the trunicating option - which worked great. But when you click Read More, and the full post opens up, the Post Info section becomes a square window on the far right of the post, and the margins of the entire long post are then altered to the more narrow width of the post margin AND the Post Info window.

How can I make that Post Info 'window' go back to being a bar underneath the post title, and free up that huge amount of right margin?
