It's about categories pages which are dynamic ie. they automatically update.

I have a webcomic called TwoTops (also Our Local Ghouls) that is on hiatus. However, I would like a tab under which all two years of it could be found, but starting with the beginning. What would be the best way to go about this, if it's possible at all? A "page"?

Assign a single category to it "comics". Then create a custom menu and add that category to the custom menu.

You have categorized your green juice post as (among other categories and tags) "recipes."

Now make a custom menu which will link to the category "recipes" as I described in the links above.

Don't worry, it is a bit daunting to set up but once you get the structure of your site it will be easy to use.

Once you have "recipes" as a navigation tab in your custom menu, it will be a simple matter of adding the category "recipes" to any other post you make about recipes.

Posts and pages are very very different. It is important to understand that difference.

You have only one dynamically changing page per blog: one page which adds posts to your blog, one page which changes everytime you publish a post.
The big idea with posts is you can assign categories to them. You cannot do that with pages:

Essentially, what you must do is make posts and assign them to categories. Then make a custom menu with links to the category pages.

Agreed. Using an offline blog editor like windows live writer or Ecto or creating posts in a plain text editor is definitely safer.

Fortunately, my post was saved in a Google cache and I was able to repost it. Too bad I can't say the same thing about the lost version of my "Sweeper of Dreams" post, which encountered an error when I submitted it and disappeared when I backed up. Of course, that was the time I forgot to highlight and hit Ctrl-C before I submitted.

I believe I had it open in three browser tabs and closed them all out. I didn't think that would create a problem with the post already uploaded and the link tweeted out.

This happened since a week or so. Learned from the first posting, she's copying and pasting her blogs first before she's publishing it. Sometimes succesful, but more it is not. The whole blog is gone.
Maybe it helps: she's writing her blogs on her EE laptop, while I later on republish her blog from my desktop computer without a problem.

There is no automatic means of moving the content from a Page into post. It's a copy and paste job.
