@thesacredpath: Thanks for your second message. For whatever reason that bar blocked scrolling when it appeared. Now that I've removed it I can get beyond the first page.

There is no older/newer previous/next link on Coraline anymore because with infinite scrolling, it is all automatic. It will keep loading posts, 7 at a time, till it has loaded ALL of your posts.

See for yourself by simply continuing to scroll down and down and down and when it all stops scrolling, you will see the very first post that you ever wrote.

The infinite scrolling has definitely become neither infinite nor scrolling, and the black bar is something new. How do I continue on to the next page as in the past?

Coraline has infinite scrolling which means that when someone gets to the bottom of the blog posts page, the system automatically loads another 7 posts and will continue doing that over and over and over till all of your posts are shown on the main page of the blog.

With infinite scrolling, there are no previous and next posts links at the bottom of the page, so nothing is hidden behind the black footer bar.

Widget Areas
Ari offers two optional widget areas in both left and right sidebar. If you prefer a two-column design, you may leave the secondary sidebar empty and then posts will fill the remaining width of the layout.

Note: The left sidebar is fixed in this theme so it is safe to not to have many widgets in the left sidebar for your readers who are viewing from smaller screens.

Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

Number one, either set your blog to block search engines at settings > privacy, or set it to private.

Number two, use the iNove theme which allows you to hide the categories and tags above or below the posts.

At the bottom of my main page and the archive pages there is no link to "Older Posts" or "Previous Posts" so users can only see the 15 that display on the front page.

How do I add that link?

How can authors make retrospective posts to a blog

eg its now wednesday but one of the authors has a photo which is relevant to last monday only, how does an author update an old days blog.

@00yedi: I agree with you that this is a flaw, but we volunteers here cannot do anything about it: you should submit a request to staff in the Ideas section of the forum, or better contact Support directly.

i thought it was a cookie or cache problem but i guess its not. i m not sure yet.
On the main page, i can see three posts which is normak, theme is desingned for 3 posts on the main page.

If i want to read previous posts, i click archive link for december and i can see all 7 posts. Because, i preferred 44 posts on a page to display. If i choose, 4 posts on a page, the remainin 3 posts became unreachable for reader. Or,

if i click acrhive link for year 2008, i can reach 44 posts on the page, but remaining posts for 2008 stays unreachable. Because there is no link for previous posts but there is a link at the bottom for the previous "year".

It is not a crucial problem, i can change the theme and solve the case, but i wanted to mention and take attention for whom can use the theme now and then.
