As long as it's public that's fine, but I figure that option must be the problem behind this.

I checked http://inthebarberry.wordpress.com and it's definitely public. It had its visibility set as "Discourage search engines from indexing this site" and you just recently updated it to "Allow search engines to index this site".

Your other blog was and remains private. I was not able to find any evidence that it became public. If you have any doubts, you can log out of WordPress.com (or open it in a different browser where you are not logged in) and check that way if you can see a blog's contents or if you are prompted to login.

It seems to me that it's just the labels in brackets next to blogs' titles in the dropdown don't always reflect if a site is private or not, and I'm looking further into this. The sites themselves don't suddenly become private/public.

Let me know if you need more assistance with this!

As long as Barberry is definetly public I can live with it.
