The property is actually my and my family´s own private property HOWEVER I want to use the blog for exactly what I originally wrote ie travel (actually the property is in country/ies foreign to my native land) and it will also include topics about photography and animals.

I am trying to find a way (and think of another new site title but haven´t come up with it) so give me a chance. I don´t quite agree when you say it´s "offensive".

You don´t know me, you can´t say that I´m pretending to do something else. That´s not true.

You say you are interested in topics like travel and animals, but all you have on your site is attempts to sell real estate, and the name of your site is "privateforsale.com".

When you state your intents on a blog as one thing, then do another thing (selling), it is highly unattractive in general and is actually offensive to readers. You are entitled to use your site to sell your personally-owned real estate, within certain limits of the Terms of Service. Just don't pretend you are doing something else, like writing a blog.

What’s Missing
Since I started the WP Theme Review I’ve cut a few things and ignored some suggestions. These are the reasons why.
...
Pages displayed in correct order on the sidebar: Blix is the only theme I’ve found that supports this feature. Even Sandbox doesn’t. Screw it.

Pages displayed with hierarchy in the sidebar: Works for the first 17 themes, I doubt I’ll find a bug.

Still can't find anything much on different views of posts. I suppose the different views are

  • front page
  • all posts
  • one post
  • all posts in a month
  • all posts on a date
  • all posts in a category
  • all posts with a tag
  • a page

To help you see what I mean, here are two issues I am trying to sort out:

1) If there is a hierarchy of pages in a blog, is there a theme which displays the hierarchy (and not just a list of all the pages) in the header? (Actually anywhere, like in a widget would do, but that is a different issue.) IIRR "Ocean Mist" only displays the top level pages in the header.

2) If I have posts with Titles (maybe blank), a picture and then some text, are there themes which which will always show the pictures when you create lists of posts by, for example, clicking on an archive month; on a category name? Theme "White as Milk" seems to do this but that might be because the blog is not well populated yet (bobsmiscellany.wordpress.com/). Theme "Ocean Mist" appears not to.

I actually take this subject quite seriously. I find it very interesting. There's the question of actual legalities.

Clearly, WordPress, as a free service, couldn't be legally bound by any property disposition instructions since, technically, none of us owns our blogs posted here. My impression of their way of doing business is that they would honor reasonable requests.

There's also the fact that WP is a global service. We have bloggers from many countries here. Each country, province, state, etc. has its own set of laws and traditions regarding disposition of property.

This is actually a huge question here.

Then I fianlly volunteered to write to a real life friend of hers at MySpace and ask her. She never wrote back but another real life friend of hers, days later, who is also a blogger updated saying she has legitimate reasons and she gave him her username and password and asked him if he could update saying she's still alive. If someone's site is just there, I'm sure they must have a reason and their blog shouldn't be deleted or anything. They could be in a coma or have amnesia (sp). If someone desperately needs that username, then put a - or an _ in the username and hopefully that hasn't been taken.
