Some have claimed I'm allowing the general public to view my protected posts via "Share this" links placed on social sites. The claim is that a password is not needed for viewing the posts via link. Probably the claimants' browser options are set to "remember passwords"; claimants possess the password, had previously logged in, then claim that they are able to magically follow links on social sites to my posts.
I just want to make absolutely certain that it's them, and not anything on my end; is there any way to access a protected post, without possessing the proper password?

I have a few password protected pages on my wordpress. When going to the page, it comes up with the standard "This post is password protected. To view it please enter your password below:" box.

I'd like to customize this page when it comes up, by using a custom made graphic that has the password box in the middle of it. Right now, it defaults towards the top, and I'd like to build a box with our logo and custom wording around it. Where do I go in the software to customize this page? Thanks!

Hey all. So I've got a wordpress webpage, with a password protected page on it. When put in the password to it, it doesn't do anything it just keeps prompting me for a password. I've tried turning it off and on again, disabling widgets and different browsers/incognito mode and it doesn't work no matter what. I'm thinking it might be because my wordpress address is not the same as the site address. I saw another post with a similar problem and they fixed it by changing the wordpress address to the same as the site address, but I don't want to change them. Does anyone know another workaround to this?

I recently got in some trouble with my workplace because my blog came up #1 for several of our keyword relevant searches. I looked into password protected blogs but most of them required people to register, which I know realistically will reduce ease of accessibility and readership. I would love if I could make it so only people with the URL can access my blog...is this possible? Much appreciated!
