What you posted was not helpful as Staff time is in high demand and their intervention is not required in cases like this. What's being reported is spam plain and simple. Please be aware that we don't post into any support thread here unless we have correct answers to share.

That's typically spam. Spammers are always trying to find new ways to get their links on our blogs. One of their tactics is to feed parts of pur own posts back to us in comments.

Akismet is a very accurate learning engine. The vast and overwhelming majority of all so-called information on the internet is spam. Over 80% of all so-called comments submitted to .wordpress.com blogs every day are spam. Spam comes in waves. There are human beings who get paid to post spam. There are robotic programs that post spam.

The worst of all spam containing malware and viruses is not sent to us. It's removed as it could bring down many blogs if opened.

On the spam that Akismet catches it takes only seconds to click "empty spam" and you don't even have to click "empty spam" if you don't want to. Akismet will maintain comments it has caught for 15 days from the time they were received, and then it will delete the comment automatically.

If you get spam that slips by Akismet then mark it as spam (do not delete it) and over time Akismet will learn it's spam.

i will be making some research about your request. however, did you contact wordpress.com forum team? I think the best way to solve this kind of problem is to email them right away...

not only they had been comments about fake Ray ban sunglass purchase . but also using my work that it is copyright .

I had email them without any response from back .
Any solutions ???

They didn't add that feature to the themes. The way those two themes are designed, if you click on the right hand side of the pic, it goes to the next picture. If you click on the left, to the previous. So you can't right-click on any but the left hand side of the very newest picture. It's an accident.

I believe that only the Duotone and Monotone themes have the ability to disable right click. That being said, I want you to know that using it creates a false sense of security. It takes no skill at all to search the internet and defeat it in seconds flat. I know this because I've done it to prove it to myself.

We have a stellar systems team that take care of all things related to threats and security. Dorifel only occurs on computers running Microsoft Word and Excel. As our servers not running that, there's nothing to worry about.

Hi,

Dutch media have been reporting about the Dorifel botnet spreading malware and viruses. Authorities have advised to block some IP adresses affiliated with this particular botnet, in order to keep systems clean.

What protection does WordPress.com offer regarding this threat? Should I block IP adresses manually and how do I do that? Big hand for whoever helps me out here! :D

I recently added a form for a book give away. Apparently this was not a very good idea, for now I am receiving hundreds of mails of people I am sure visited this page. I know this because there are hundreds of mails more than visits to this page, a mail is send every two minutes or so and the email addresses are all hotmail.com. So some robot or something is doing a very good job now.

Is there any way to protect me from this in the future?

As you can see above, this warning pops up when you've used images from or linked to an unsafe site. Try setting your most recent post as a Draft, then look at the main blog and see if the problem persists. If not, the problem is a link in that post.

You have included an image from fogabc.hu in the post who's subject matter I won't mention here.

Since Google is reporting the source of that image as suspicious, I recommend deleting it from your post.
