Hi guys,

I've got a little problem. See, I just started using the WordPress Android app and so far, I've made five posts using said app. For these five posts, I selected 'Image' for the post format and posted a single image per post together with a title, I tagged it and published it.

Now the first two posts were publicized on Facebook - where an album was created with an image per post. Then I updated the WordPress app, as there was a new update not too long ago. My problem lies here, after the update, for my third and subsequent posts. These posts are publicized on Facebook - BUT with duplicates. It publicizes the actual image as well as the thumbnail.

I've been deleting the smaller (thumbnail) image on my Facebook album but then the link to the post on my Timeline is broken and my likes and comments are split - meaning there may be some people liking the actual image and some people liking the activity/publicized post. For reference's sake, the average actual image dimensions are 1000x800 - more or less and the thumbnails are 500x300 - more or less. Every post I've made since the update will give me both dimensions linked to one publicized Facebook entry.

My questions are:
1. Is this normal? I don't think it is - it could be bug seeing as I never encountered this for the first two posts.
2. Anyone else has this problem or is it just me?
3. Are my settings off?
4. Is there a work around to this duplicate thingy?

I've been pulling my hair because of this as I can't figure it out - I guess I'm pretty OCD. I'd just like to say I appreciate all the help I can get and a big advance thank you to anyone willing to help! :)

Best regards,
Ian Bong

I have Publicize turned on with my Twitter account linked, but as of today it has begun reasserting the "via @wordpressdotcome" suffix instead of my twitter username (@STraductores). I've checked other WordPress.com blogs that I know have the same setup and found the same behavior.

How do I fix it?
