Hi, I'm back - happy New Year!

I realized today that the simple change you suggested which I had implemented to my great satisfaction, unfortunately is not working anymore; I tried switching the "." with the "#" and back again but nothing changes.

Of course I have purchased the upgrade, but other than that I am not aware of having made any other changes.

I confess I tried looking up the page source but I found it very confusing, looks like something that's way beyond my capabilities, sorry!

Any help you could provide is greatly appreciated

Excellent question. The theme author determines which elements in the theme will be ID elements (using the # before the element name) and which elements will be CLASS elements (using the . before the element name.) The individual elements are called selectors.

There are rules about when ID's should be used and when Classes should be used. The main one is that the ID should be used for unique selectors and the class may be used for a variety of selectors. Read more about it at http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_id_class.asp

Many browsers will allow you to view the source of your page. That is an easy way to locate the section that you are trying to modify and see whether they use the # or the . and the selector used. It's not always that straightforward but often enough that those of us who like to poke around can determine what might work.

If you look at your theme theme stylesheet you will also see the ID's and classes and the selectors they relate to, but not in the order used on each page like viewing the source does.

The username "illfb" is reserved to the owner of the blog with the same address - which in this case, is you :)

I can create this user account for you, but I'd need a new email address for it (that is, an email address different then the one you use with your current account). I suggest you send us a private request to let us know the email address you want to use.

From the Support Contact Form, choose the private request option (should the option present itself).

Regardless of the issue with this user account, I would strongly recommend you avoid give multiple users the credentials for a single user account. Instead, you can let all users submit posts with their usual user account, but then have an editor change the author to the generic account before publishing. At the very least, I suggest you limit this group account to the Contributor role.

Hello,

I am part of a team who writes the "It Looks Like A Feminist Blog".
Our idea is to comment feminism, feminist issues and how each of the team interprets it, the daily lives and what have made an impact with us and our views.

ILLFB is a secondary blog of mine, with means that I already have a username.
Unfortunately we desperately need to have a massusername, from which to post important news or things that are not someone's opinion or view, but something from all of us and we can't.

I have tried to register just a username illfb but wordpress denied it on the logic that illfb already exists (that's us!).

Can you help or at least provide some advice?
I have tried to find a work around but to no avail.

Thank you very much in advance guys and gals and... you are awesome, both for your work and dedication. ;)
