I'm not really promoting the actual content (as if everyone would be expected to understand the subject) but just want to know what you think of the general 'look and feel' of the blog.

I've gone for safe ol' white because I think you shouldn't sacrifice on content, and I want my blog to have a professional feel about it without it being too 'elitist' or 'out-of-reach'. Images are minimal to save on webspace, and I've ommited 'references' and opted instead for 'biographies used', mainly for the sake of simplicity.

Does anyone know, btw, what the post limit is for each blog?

Would be great if every commentator could rate the article like this:
A person who makes a comment could also rate the article with a special rating scale - above (!) the comment.
Example: If the person likes the article he/she could rate 5 stars. This stars will appear above the comment. ("This person rated this article with 5 stars").

Hope you understand what I mean.. ;)

I decided on the link style to try and keep it simple, less clutter, i suppose all to their own on preference of layouts,

Ill do some playing around to try and create a less, clicky setup =D

Layout looks clean. Not my taste literally and graphically as I'm vegetarian and prefer to scroll down and sink into blogs rather than reclicking for each post. That's about me not your blog though. It was fast page loading and the piccies looked good too.

I think the best food blogs are the ones that are pretty short and sweet without pretentious woffle. Sometimes a tiny bit of personal/anecdotal stuff works, sometimes it doesn't. I guess you will find your own level, always best to write how you feel comfortable.

I like your blog's layout. I find it clean and easy to navigate. The way you've set up your posts is great too. I find that with some food blogs, bloggers tend to leave too much of the recipe/instructions as a preview and it makes it tedious for me to browse through when I'm only interested in reading titles and short excerpts (and looking at yummy pictures!)

My only advice would be to have some way for readers to navigate your recipes/reviews via food type. For example, a categories widget for different recipe categories such as desserts, vegetarian, etc.

Overall well done :)

Just looking for people's thought on this current blog, and ideas on how i may improve it further
Its a NFP, 0 Ad's Blog, its just a hobby, like most other bloggers out there these days, though i have jumped into an overly popular field of reciepes, and reviews.

I have started to slowly learn some of the plugins, though are there any extras i should consider ?

To summarise, could i get people's opinion on the layout, page response time, navigation etc,

(Sorry about the tags, slowly learning the SEO framework as we speak)

Look forward to any idea on how i can make my blog a better place =D

So if I understand your link correctly, I can write a post about a serious theme that would be X-rated if I use some words or pictures. But because I explain things without using their words and pictures it would be ok. You actually have to be an adult to understand what I have written, to be able to read "between the lines." That´s ok to post without X-raing a blog.

Am I right?

Is the topic of sex considered as mature at wordpress.com? As an author I would like to write about sex and literature. Many years ago the book Sexus was published, and it was a huge thing then. I would like to write a post on that theme, discussing the question of how far a writer can bring that topic today, without passing the boundaries for what´s accepted today.

The main topic of that post would not be sex, but sex within literature. I would have to mention sex and write about. It would not be graphic, but more questions about what´s ok to write about (topics).
