Not as extensive as some self-hosted options like BuddyPress but having the big advantage that all the management/maintenance/patching/security work is done for you.

If you are setting up a site somewhere else for your "team" then all you need to do is edit the DNS and point it at the new web host.

If you want to use it on a different site here, then you will need to create that site and then ask staff to transfer the domain mapping (if it also has not expired) over to that new site.
