Thanks - I guess I'll just have to wait and see if it resolves itself - a pity, since as a stats nerd I enjoyed seeing what were the most successful ways of attracting people to the blog, and I'm certain they're not coming via google images or by typing in my blog address.

But in the global scheme of things, no biggie, I suppose... :)

I don't see a big difference compared with the last 30 days stats. The only difference I see is that you don't have had any referrers from Google Images in the last 7 days. It might be caused by the recent change Google did to its Google Images search results page. Before, a click on an image found through Google Images resulted in a view. Now, after clicking on an image it doesn't automatically redirect you to the source anymore. Therefore you don't get a pageview.

Thanks for that, but there's been a huge drop over the last couple of days. Mostly these figures are the same or near enough, but now my Referrers is less than a third of my views. I genuinely don't think that lots of visitors are suddenly typing in my URL - they'll be coming from the Reader or from links on Amazon, Goodreads etc as they have always done. The drop has been sudden not gradual.

I asked about all the different "Googles" showing up under referrers in a support question, and I understand what is going on now. It is logged-in hits from Google+ or some other Google service where Google isn't passing any information.

But it is still annoying, because my referrers list gets filled up with Google India and Google Philippines and Google Mexico and Google Canada, etc, etc, etc. I recognize that these may not be search engine hits, so I understand why you aren't listing them under search engines. Makes sense.

So, my idea was that you could group the "Googles" just like you do "Search Engines." Search engines are just one line on the referrers list, but expandable if I want to see which search engines. You could do the same with Googles -- a single line ("Google") but expandable, and then it would show all the different national Googles. It would make the referrers list a lot cleaner.
