When I went to register us on wordpress I found someone had already registered under our company name.

Now there are two options

a. someone within our company has registered the blog. But I have searched fairly exhaustively and can't seem to find any evidence that a company email was used to register the blog (the company is quite small). However, if this is the case I need to find a way to access the blog so we can start using it.

b. someone else outside the company has registered the blog. In that case we are interested in contacting this person because our name is copyrighted and cannot be used by others. However there is no information on the blog so I'm not sure how to find contact info.

Any insight or solutions to our issues would be greatly appreciated!

If we each pitch in a few ideas - after a while big improvements are noted and everyone's job is easier

Back when I was a productive member of society I used to say that I never had many ideas worth more than $ 0.25 each - but I had a lot of them - and unlike many of my peers I would rundown small production problems and maintenance issues - get rid of the ones nobody cared about - set productions and safety records doing that - - wrote industrial software - major changes in some systems - usually did not have a team doing acceptance testing after me (the only Engineer / Programmer that did not have a test team behind me) - - ask my boss about the missing test team one time - his reply was that by the time I finished testing my stuff to my standards that I had done a more though testing than any team he had could do - so he was putting the teams behind the other Engineers - was a compliment I guess - one project I did 3 months of program changes on live systems - in the end I left one bug in things - they ran for a few months until the maintenance guys finally decided to chase the bug down - I was told took them less than two hours to find and fix it - some obscure combination that happened once a week - oh well

Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

Try changing it at http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/ first.

If that doesn't work, try Users -> Personal Settings in your blog's Dashboard.
