I am not sure if this is theme specific, but I'll tell you what I can do through the Dashboard. Go to Appearance> Menus. My menu is titled Preferred Menu and it lists all the pages. There page titled Home says "Custom" and a little arrow. Click on that and there is the option to change its "Navigation label".

I removed the Home tab/page because clicking on the blog title in the header will bring people right back to the posts.

I hope this helped. I had quite a time when I first started blogging trying to learn all this.

Hi, I am currenty trying to get familiar to what I can do with my blog and I have a problem I cannot solve: I would like to rename the page "home" on my blog - the aim is that the recent posts are still visible on the first page my visitors get to, but it should have another name than "home".

I found the question was already raised here on the blog but there is no answer that helps me. Thanks for any how-to-do-this-in-simple-steps-advice!

I want my visitors to go to elinsworld.wordpress.com and land on the page for my posts, but I want this page to be called travelblog in stead of home (so I dont want the frontpage to be a static page).

Hi. If I understand correctly, you already know that you can create your own custom menu, with or without "Home" (or whatever you wish to call it). You want your visitors who go to elinsworld.wordpress.com to land on a specific page rather than your most recent posts? You can do so by following these instructions:

I use the Structure theme, and would like to rename my page HOME. Is there any way to just rename it?
My goal is that the first page of my blog and my posts is the same page, but that the name is not HOME.

And if it´s not possible to rename home:
I´m able to remove it by using a custom menu and change the reading-settings so that my posts appear at the page I want to (and the HOME is not showing at my menu), but I´m not able to change the fact that the first page will be home - also this static page. Is there any way of making one of my own pages as the first page of my blog when you use the url?
