Hi,
I'm trying to change the name of my home page from "Home" to the actual title that appears when you click on "Home", which is "Today's Special". The page "Home" doesn't show up in my pages section, so I can't alter the title from there. However, I know this can be done, as I've viewed the Widely Theme preview page and the word "Home" was changed to "Blog". Any suggestions?

You can create a custom menu, add all the pages as well as the Home item to the menu, change the navigation label of the Home item. See here for more:

Instead of "home" in the navigation bar, I want it to say "blog." Is there somewhere I can change that?

I am using the F2 theme on the following blog: http://www.nx9ls.com/

I have created a static page called Welcome and a second page called All Posts that the posts go to.

Home is still appearing as a menu item how do I eliminate it?

I have tried the edit page option but Home does't come up as a page to eliminate. I have looked at a number of plugins again none provide home as an option.

Any help welcome

Sorry, if you are messing with the wp_list_pages function directly, you are in the wrong forum and need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

'Ello,

I am making a WordPress based site and have named pages in the WordPress back end in a way that makes sence to me but I want the pages to be named differently when they are displayed to the user through the wp_list_pages function so they are shorter.

How can I go about doing this?
