Thanks for your support, but this is not what I mean, haha. Check for example on http://www.bobbyraffin.com/ for a live preview on how the widget. I know for a fact WordPress don't 'support' this kind of widget, because of the use of Java (?) or something. But I was hoping they could build one around it? :)

Sometimes newcomers think Staff will immediately respond to these threads but that's not what we Volunteers observe happening. raincoaster provided a temporary solution as she and I have been here for over 7 years now and we notice how Ideas threads like these linger, linger and linger.

That is a possibility, but doesn't create the effect I want. Because when I do that the Hype Button stays for instance on zero, while my look on LOOKBOOK gets over a hundred hypes... The two are linked. You can click on the number for a direct 'hype' or go to the website self and 'hype' there. :)

Hello!

Of course it would be awesome to have them all, but the one that has the priority is the "Hype Button", this button can be inserted into a post often about a look you wear. With this "Hype Button" you can direct your readers directly to the same look you put on LOOKBOOK where they can hype the outfit if they want too. :) Hope that explains it a bit!

Hello there,

I searched the Internet on a Lookbook widget for WordPress, but it doesn't seem to work. LOOKBOOK.NU is a very well known site that already works with widgets for other hosts, like Blogger. Since I prefer WordPress, it would be awesome if a LOOKBOOK widget became available for users on WordPress. I know for a fact that I'm not the only one who wants this... ;) Some figure out to convert it with a plugin called inline javascript. I can't do this, because I can't customize my HTML code or anything. But it is possible! So please WordPress, help us!

Hello from a fellow Belarusian :) To be clear, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. I checked the WordPress Polyglots P2 and saw that you already posted some requests there, from which I take that you want to work on the translation for the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com. That is managed over on WordPress Polyglots P2. I suggest that you re-post your request there to get your validator access working properly.

Hello!

Belarusian language project was abandoned long time ago. A month or so I've contacted WordPress polyglots to make me editor, responsible for this localisation, but I couldn't realise I have to be a validator to import PO file.
So, being the only one at the moment who is working right now on Belarusian localisation, I'd like to have a validator access.

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install any plugins. JavaScript cannot be used because this is a multiuser blogging platform. Our blogs share a common architecture and one bad script in a single blog could bring down many blogs.

It would be great to have a widget that would either allow a Java code insert similar to how you can insert html in a Text Widget or a widget that allows access to myvu.com. How can you initiate that type request?

But for this FTP access isnt necessary, as Tweetily is directly downable through the Plugin section?

I'd love this kind of plugin, the links are stored temporarily in the database to be read out etc..

Basically I'm looking for a Tweetily modification where I can select not just categories/specific I want to include/exclude.

But I want to give specific posts or posts from a specific time span more tweet-weight than others, so that while tweets on Tweetily are randomized for all included posts, the higher-weighted ones get more tweets that day/week/month,

Or maybe an added option where additional posts/pages from outside that time span can be included.

Please let me know whether that's possible?

Hi WP administrators.

While we are waiting for WordPress.com to "develop an event calendar" please take a look at the WP theme Soundcheck which includes an 'Upcomming Gigs'
(see theme.wordpress.com/themes/soundcheck/).

Is this something you can benefit from?
Have anyone any experience about / how this theme deal with/organize events?
I am considering using this...

Regarding all discussions about widgets, plugins and 3.party SW: you can not include this in your wordpress.com -blog. You have to host your own wordpress site (e.g. http://www.godaddy.com/hosting/wordpress-hosting) to benefit from custom plugins.
