Yes, I've checked both emails' spam/junk folders. I recently changed the original email address to one I currently use, so it should all go to ONE email address but I'm checking both just in case. I can't use that link you gave me since I can't log into my account at all. I need to get a reset password for the account before I can log in and make sure my email settings are correct.

You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

Try changing it at http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/ first.

If that doesn't work, try Users -> Personal Settings in your blog's Dashboard.

I had forgotten my password for my blog magdalenehart.wordpress.com and hit the reset password button. There are only two email addresses associated with that account and neither ever received the reset password email. I am unable to access anything on my magdalenehart.wordpress.com account. Please advise.

It was something crazy like 40% of the daily recovery requests.

I guess I should not be surprised, and maybe wonder why so low, given the simple requests that show up in the forum because someone can't be bothered to spend literally one minute in the support documents using their own key words for the search string.

Another problem with the direct link was the amount of folks who bypassed the self-reset form and could have reset their own passwords. It was something crazy like 40% of the daily recovery requests. We'd just send them back to reset their own and it would work perfectly for them. Not too difficult, but it did take time away from the folks who really did need help.

I'm sure we'll have something beter soon, but for now we'll just do it manually like the old days.

but we have many people that have a second account or blog that they are having trouble with and such, so if the form ever comes back I renew the recommendation that the form be usable by someone that is logged in - maybe a note as is done now if I visit a Private Blog that I don't have access to - there is a note that I can't get there from here, I am logged in as xxxxx please log out and use a different name

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.

WordPress.org has complete support and documentation sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress via their Codex and Support Forums.
