I am about to deploy a company site based on WP, but I am unable to figure out how to solve my usr rights requirements: I need to allow just some users to edit just some pages. That is e.g. situation like this:

  • user "admin" is able to edit anything
  • user "adam" is able to edit just pages "aa.php" and "bb.php"
  • user "eva" is just able to make new posts (news)
  • users "carlos" and "juan" are both able to edit just the page "aa.php"

I haven't figured out so far how to manage that in WP :(

For a project I'm working with WordPress, and now I'm stuck on a problem.

This is the case:
There are several countrys that are going to edit pages on the wordpress page and now what I want to is that for example.
Im the admin and i have rights to edit everything.
Now someone from Germany can only edit pages that are written in his language, so link pages to a certain user so he can't edit pages that are from somone in France.
The users from the country's can't have the same rights as the admin so they can't see certain stuff on the menu, atleas thats what I want it to do.

I hope there is anyone that can help me, i already tryed some plugins, but they only filter layers of wordpress, not pages linking to people.

In areas that are restricted to smoker's by law non-smokers can and do take punitive legal action against self-absorbed addicts who spiel bullshit as well as smoke and that's what I advocate - take action - charge them and fine them.

No one has the right to pollute any other person's airspace with their smoke. And anyone who thinks they have the right to make others sick and perhaps even cause them cancer, so they can continue their addiction needs far more than counselling to quit smoking. They need a clear and concise message followed up with a summons and that's what any addict gets from me. Get over your addiction and get out of my face.
