It was working previously, but it stopped (probably as I was not blogging for a long time). I did create a new post two days ago, and I wanted it to appear in the RSS feed of the My Yahoo page. Bust when I tried to re-create the RSS feed in My Yahoo, I got an "Invalid URL" error. I wanted to find out if the RSS feed is valid and operational. The issue could be with my My Yahoo page.

  1. I'm considering submitting my blog feed to syndication services, and before I do that, I just wanted to make sure that the feed was valid first. Looks like I can subscribe to the feed using IE9 and Google Reader, so that's great. (Thanks again for fixing the invalid characters.) Is there any way I can fix invalid characters myself, if this occurs again?
  2. I'm still having a problem submitting my podcast to iTunes. I created a podcast and submitted it to Feedburner, as directed in the WordPress Help. I then tested the podcast by trying to subscribe to it in iTunes, as directed in Apple's documentation. To troubleshoot, I then checked the Feedburner PodMedic results for the podcast feed, and I'm getting the following results for 5 links: First, for a .jpg link: "Media enclosure not created because: A general error occured creating the enclosure. We sincerely wish we could provide more concrete detail, but alas. It eludes us." The second error, which occurs for 4 links, is as follows: "Media enclosure not created because: The content type returned from your host server was a text type, not a binary media type. Podcast content should always return a binary media type, such as audio/mpeg for audio, or video/mpeg for video." Do you know what might be causing this? (If troubleshooting this issue is beyond the scope of this forum/WordPress.com support, I understand; just thought I'd ask).

In the Media section of your blog's Dashboard, you gave the title of '.' which is invalid. if you adjust the title to something like the others, like '4c', your feed will be valid again.
