My "posts" page from the dashboard does not display properly. The letters are lined up vertically instead of horizontally. I cannot even see the titles of my posts. Quite frustrating. Thanks for any help.

I don't know what "that" is, but I am using FF 17.0. My browser size is 1218 X 853 and my screen resolution is 1680 X 1050.

Perhaps a better term for the frame that has been reduced is the editing space rather than the editable space.

I am using the most recent version of Firefox. The editable space of all pages remains truncated.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I'm getting a thick white strip that covers the right part of my blog. I didn't used to get this before. It interferes with the viewing and the upper part of my menu on the right (e.g. Logout) is obstructed. I think it may be an advertisement but not sure. Why am I getting this and how can I get rid of it please?

You're welcome. Mine is "holding" too and hopefully will remain the way I want it. :) One day when I have time I'll make a list of all thes threads I recall so I don't have to use Google search to find them. I'm no longer into bookmarking as mine rival the Library of Congress collection size ... lol :D

Thank you for the links, timethief! I didn't change the resolution, but reading that thread was helpful, for other reasons. :-)

It all seems to be staying as it should, now, so... I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'm happy!

I know about screen options, but didn't think they changed on their own. Sure enough, "2" columns was now checked, instead of the "1" I had. Don't know how that happened, but... all is back to how it had been! :-)

I don't see any changes on my dashborad. The modules I selected to display under screen options are the ones appearing. Have you read the support documentation here? http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/

When I look at my dashboard, there are now two main sections/columns. The section on the left has Recent Comments, Your Stuff, Right Now, What's Hot, etc.

The right hand column is completely empty, except for a huge dotted box at the top.

Is something funky happening on my dashboard, or are you in the midst of (more) changes?

Doesn't matter what browser I'm using, it looks the same on all of them.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm new at this and not computer savvy at all. I tried reducing the screen resolution size, it works for every other page besides my Dashboard/blog page. This is so frustrating, I'm considering throwing in the towel! Is there anything else I can try before I go this route?

If I perceive your dashboard issue correctly, this has nothing to do with TypeKit Fonts, it's a scrren resolution size issue. See here > http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/add-new-post-screen-stuck-as-1-column/page/3?replies=88#post-854701

So, as long as your browser window is at least 850px wide, you'll still see both columns. If you decrease the width below 850px, the layout will switch to single column to better accommodate the editor.

The interface font size is too large fro me to work with on my Dashboard. The fields are merging into one another.

I am trying to add my own custom background image. The default image adjusts to screen resulotion, however when I add my own image, it does not adjust. It only looks right on my desktop. Why does the image only adjust for the default background image but not when you upload your own?

I am creating a blog using the zBench theme, my WordPress version is up to date.

I am developing this blog on a Windows XP Pro machine, and have tested it in IE, Firefox, and Chrome, all on different resolutions.

I had a colleague look at the blog for feedback, and on his Windows 7 Pro machine in IE, the sidebar displayed underneath the main content column. The Facebook and RSS Feed icons remained in place.

His machine was a laptop, running a widescreen resolution, I'm not sure the exact screen resolution.

When I use a resolution that is "too small" the site displays properly, other than the gray background behind the nav menu getting cut off, displaying a white background in the top right corner of the nav / header area.

I am wondering if this problem occurred from a screen resolution being too wide, is that at all possible?

If that is not possible, I am thinking it may be because I relocated the search bar, removing it from the nav menu, and placing it directly above the sidebar.

A question
I have a WordPress blog where the blog is one single page with a JPG image
The problem is that the nubes I am working with ( or not trying to work with) cannot get it through their heads that screen resolution varies the amount of the image that can be seen on screen
Only 5 % of the viewers are at 800 x 600 and that is these people
The jpg works fine at most other screen resolutions
Is there a plugin that will fix this issue or it a lost cause
Just out of interest the Jpg starts out a PDF file that is converted via Gimp
