I want to show a maximum of 8 posts on the homepage. When I get to the bottom there is button that says "load more posts". My problem is I don't want to load more posts in the homepage. Is there any way that I just press a button and another "page" opens with more posts? The scroll bar just gets bigger and bigger and user find it annoying whenever they have to go back up

Such as a previous entries button that some other blogs have.

However, I couldn't see the 2 vertical scroll bars you described. I see arrows on the left and right and a little bit of the next image on the right side. If I click any of those things it switches to the next or previous image.

Are you still experiencing the problem? If you're still having trouble, please reply back here with more information about how to reproduce the issue.

Do you know how to fix this? Is it a bug?

The new comment boxes seem to have a number of bugs.

If you write a long comment, the icons for the various access options (Guest, WP, Facebook, Twitter) remain where they are until you run the mouse over them to move them when they are at the bottom of the comment box.

Write beyond them and the comment box keeps jumping in length and back again.

Some comment boxes work OK, but those on themes that are black come up grey on black (readable), Black on grey, or white on white which you have to hilight to check spelling.

This is not common to all of them, just five out of ten that I write with when commenting on friend's blogs.

Hope you can fix this - it's just minor glitches I know, but it makes using WP a bit of a challenge...

Additionally... after you've written something and posted it - or even if you don't post it - it stays in the comment box. I can leave a page and come back and what I've written is still in the comment box. That may not be a problem - it could even be a feature... but for it to stay after I've clicked the post comment button is rather confusing.

But it's particularly annoying to be missing the right-hand scroll bar.

I just wanted to add vertical scroll bar to one or two specific widgets that are installed already in wordpress. They are not text widgets though. Categories and blogrolls are quite long widgets. So i need a vertical scroll bar. Hope somebody can help me.

While on the editor page, turn IE8 compatibility view either on or off (depending on which it is set at now).

I have been having a problem the last few weeks where the scroll bar in my html editor (edit window?) when I make a new post or simply need to edit part of a post, keeps jumping back to the top when I scroll to the area I need to work on. Sometimes it takes me like 20 tries to get it to stay put at the area I need to edit. I'm using IE8 in Windows Vista 32 bit.

With the 370px right and left padding that makes the bar 1740 px wide...no wonder you get a scroll bar.
