I have lost everything tonight whilst doing some maintenance on the site.
I was using WP-DBManager and first of all the back-up facility wouldn't work, I wasn't to worried as I had backed up a few days ago with simple backup plugin. So I continued with DBManager to optimize the site, did that no problem and continued to empty/drop tables of deactivated plugins.
After selecting the tables I wanted to drop the page I was confronted with was the "Install wordpress" welcome screen.

And so I stand before you all, a broken man who doesn't know what to do.

Because my webhosting service doesn't allow WordPress wildcards, I had to make subdomain like this:
- make a map in the ftp root
- copy wordpress files to that map
- edit wp-config
- install wordpress
But now, I'll change to another host very soon (a host which does allow WordPress Wildcards). So I'll setup a multisite network.
But my question is, how can I make a copy of my subdomains and import them to my multisite.
I can't just move the files via FTP because when you make a site via multisite, a FTP folder isn't created.

It is almost invariably an advantage to have a private blog on which to test widgets and themes. To set a blog to Private, go to Settings->Reading on the dashboard of that blog.

To delete the blog, go to Tools->Delete and realize if you do this neither you nor anyone else will ever be able to use the content >OR the URL of that blog ever again.

Later I decided to remove the website, for good. I was not able to delete it from "My Blogs", I created a new post in the forum asking about it. It turned out that a staff member had to do it manually.

A feature letting the user delete a jetpack connected site from "My Blogs" would be handy, it would cause less clutter in the forum, and it would be less work for your staff. It's a win/win feature that should be implemented IMHO!
