The problem is that doing so in my theme (Bold Life) makes it so that the title and tagline appear on the actual blog itself, which I don't want because I have a banner image.

Right now, all that displays on the tab for blog visitors is "thenewpolis.com", but I would like it to say "The New Polis: Freedom and Community" or something like that.

My Site title, primary menu, sticky post title and widget titles are going crazy all of the sudden!! No idea of what is going on. Letters are all mixed up and not making any sense.. Help!
Is there any update going on on the Oxygen theme I would not be aware of? That's really upsetting...:-(

If you are, please do these four things:

1. Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

Go to > Settings > General and try again.
There on the top line "site Tile" you ought to be able to insert the spaces and then click "save changes".

If you are not successful let us know exactly exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using and post any error reports you get.

It seems to be some sort of glitch with the website.

I looked at http://laurentdunienville.com/ and I didn't see the site title, and now I see it's because you deleted it from your Settings page.

If you wanted to hide the site title in the footer on the Elemin theme with CSS instead of deleting it from the Settings, you could use CSS like this:

#footer-title {
     display: none;
}

I originally thought it was my mistake so created another blog, but the same thing happened again.

Can you help rectify this problem.

that information (memoirsofaninsanewoman...etc) is the old information. I'm trying to figure out why it is still showing that information if my title and tag lines have been changed.
