You would need to add some Custom CSS. If you have not already done so, you would need to purchase the Custom Design addon to do that.

Hi there. To enable these options, go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Theme Options. You will then be able to select which icons to show there.

Hello,

I'm very new to blogging and I have used the splendio theme on my blog. Since I have a (very) limited understanding of 'coding' I am finding it really hard to get everything to appear streamlined.

What I would like is to upload a twitter and facebook icon in the header like it has in the example of the splendio theme. The box is already there but I can't find any way to change anything in the header other than the picture. Am i looking in the wrong place?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but the person reported that it was not working on IE9 and the post under "Latest Posts" was running into the text under "In Other News." I double checked on Mozilla and Chrome and it works fine, but I also experienced the same problem on IE9.

I'm curious if it's possible to move the "In Other News" Box from the middle to the side. It makes the "Latest Post" pretty teeny, so I'd love to bump that over if possible.

Exactly which version of IE are you referring to please. Only version IE8 and upward are supported.

We have been using the standard Splendio theme (no css). The drop down menu on "Language Lessons" gets cut off in Internet Explorer, but not Chrome or Mozilla. How would we be able to fix this problem?

Sounds like you might have set some of your posts as sticky, and those will get stuck to the top of the posts lists regardless of other settings. Can you check to see if some of your posts are sticky posts?

The code you provided is definitely overriding the existing header, but after changing the width/height and adding the URL, there is only blank space that is showing up. Not the image itself. Any idea as to why this is happening?

Can you reply with the exact CSS you entered so we can take a look at that part?

Hi, thank you for writing back.
Yes, "Scroll infinitely" is disabled, the Splendio theme doesn't allow it anyway.
I am able to display as many posts as I'd like, but as soon as enter a number lower than 5, it doesn't display that specified number of posts, just keeps it at 5.

Any suggestions?

Howdy! It looks as though you've recently switched themes, but I'm guessing @raincoaster is on the right track -- to display only 3 posts, you need to ensure the "Scroll infinitely" option is disabled (also under Settings -> Reading), otherwise most themes will display 7 posts regardless of the posts per page setting. I hope this clears things up!

Without being able to see the site, I had to work off the demo site, so I'm not sure what the issue is on your particular site. I need to be able to check out what you have done and look at your CSS using Firebug.

If you have changed the width of the theme, you can't use the header uploader as the height and width of the header in this theme is set in the PHP script files and we cannot access those. You have to upload the header image to the media library, get the URL of that image and then do it all in the CSS. This is probably the best way to do it. Change the height and width to match the image you want to use and then replace URL OF IMAGE between the double quote marks in the background declaration to the URL of the image you uploaded to the media library.

#header-image {
background: url("URL OF IMAGE") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
height: 400px;
width: 1200px;
}

#header-image img {
display: none;
}

The second bit above will hide the original header image. The new header image will not be clickable to return to the site main page as it was originally.

If you want to change the "continue reading" text color, add this:

I tried to change number of posts per page in "Reading" (from 5 to 3), but this isn't working.
