Earlier today I had two notifications to install updates.

You never ever get that type of notice for a free hosted WordPress.COM blog because Staff do all updates. That's a reference to a WordPress>ORG install.

On this support forum we provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs. That other site is not a free hosted WordPress com blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum to get help with it. This one is only for free hosted WordPress>COM blog issues. If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.org bloggers.

What the heck is going on? Whenever I try to access my site I get an error message. I didn't click on the updates and now I'm freaking out again. I love being self hosted but I've had more headaches in the last few days trying to figure out what the next problem could be.
