That's great thanks so much for that! I'm sure it's an easy one but I'm not sure how to work it out : is there a way to get the feature headline centered with the feature image? Adjusting the padding maybe?
Thanks again that looks much better.

Add this to your CSS and see what you think. Since the size of the feature images is set in the theme php script files, we cannot change them, and what I've done below asks the browser to make the images bigger, and browsers are lousy at that and the images lose sharpness and quality. See what you thing though.

Hi there,
I recently switched to the Structure theme and I was wondering if it's possible to get rid of the left sidebar and have the categories with the rest of the widgets in the right sidebar.
Ideally the posts images would align with the featured post down the left side.
Thanks a lot for your help.

No, the answer isn't there. That answer applies to the default blog front (latest posts), but you've set a static page as your blog front. To display an image below the menu on that page, you can only edit the page and insert an image in it. If you wish, you can also select the full-width template for that page.

Howdy! Images will not appear on the home page in the post content area when using Structure, as it displays only the post excerpt.

To add an image to the post excerpt manually, you can do so using HTML and crafting an excerpt in the Excerpt field. The HTML to add an image looks like this, replacing the SRC part with the URL to your image file:

<img src="http://yamyameventproduction.wordpress.com/path/to/my-image.jpg">

However, this may not produce the best results, as images are typically not meant to appear in excerpts. In this case, it may be easier to switch to a theme that displays full post content on the home page.

I hope this clarifies!

Matching text and background colors is a frowned-upon technique, and it can potentially upset the ability of people to find you on google.

timethief, do wordpress.com users have the ability to edit the footer.php file directly, or edit that content elsewhere? (I seem to recall that the WP preference is to discourage editing/removing it.)
