The behavior I am experiencing is that 2nd-level submenu options don't drop down in Mixfolio.
They are there when I change to other themes, so I am wondering whether this is a bug or a feature...

I started to build a blog in Mixfolio and after a few days I suddenly noticed that it does not seem to support grandchildren in the primary custom menu.
I seem to get them in other themes but when I activate Mixfolio, it only shows one level down.
Is that possible? a bug? It is really doing my head in.

Hi everyone,

I have 4 pages & several categories

*Who I am & Why I Work
-category: Work , inspiration, fitness
*What I watch & hear
*Who to Love & Where to Go
*Witty & Whimsical Woes...

How come the categories act as sub menus?

I just want to be able to click "Who I am & Why I Work" and have all posts with the categories (work, fitness, inspiration) be located there.

I a real beginner and don’t have much of a plan with CSS.

as u see in my navigation menu I have created different sites. Two of them (called “erlebt” und “bereist”) have several subpages.

So far it worked perfectly and automatically, when you scroll over the main site there openend a drop-down and showed you all the subpages. You were then able to click on them.

Since a few days it doesn’t work anymore. When i scroll over the page titles in the menu it opens the dropdown with the subpages. But when i want to click on them they suddenly disappear.

I searched the web for hours, but didn’t find the problem
please please can you help me??

It appears to be positioned correctly, and I see the drop down arrow next to "Sessions", but it is rendering underneath the featured image on the homepage. It appears to work properly once drilled down into the site. Just need to get it visible on the homepage.

I find the Blaskan template or theme severely lacking in this area. I want to add a custom menu with submenus and static menus (I believe that's what it is called). I wish that my menus would stay the same when transferring from two themes which allow custom and submenus instead of having to start from scratch every time. It is extremely time consuming.

Have you tried using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled?

Next, delete the custom menu that you have and create a new one and save it and see if it works that time. If it does, make sure and then assign that menu to to primary menu location in the theme location module at upper left on the custom menu page.

We can all create custom menus and have dropdowns.

1. You create a custom menu. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

2. You add the Parent pages you want to display and arrange them in the order you want.

3. Then you add and drop and drag the subpages below the appropriate Parent pages, and when you have everything arranged in the menu that you want you save the menu.

4. Go to the “theme location” module at upper left on the menu page. Select your custom menu name from the pulldown labeled “primary location.” Click the save button in that module.

5. Refresh your browser so that it isn’t possibly pulling a cached page, and view see your new menu with Parent pages and dropdowns to sub-pages.

Note: A custom menu allows you to display Categories with drop-downs to sub-categories in tabs along the horizontal navigation where normally only Pages tabs are displayed. If you wish you can also include Pages with drop-downs to sub-pages and/or custom links in your custom menu as well. You are in charge of what appears in a custom menu. You choose the order in which to display any and/or all the foregoing in your custom menu. You choose which to display and which to hide.
