CSS is theme specific, so what you have right now in your custom CSS for the footer stuff will not work on Suburbia. Give this a try and see what you think. It adds your own text to the end of the line.

.footer p:after {
content: " :: Disclaimer text here.";
}

There is another trick where you use positioning to position a text widget in the footer area for your text, but this can be a bit tricky and won't work cleanly on all themes. It depends on the structure of the markup (XHTML).

Hello!

I'm building out a website for a new product, and I'd like to add a disclaimer above the WordPress copyright and theme info at the bottom of the page. I'm using the Suburbia theme and all of the footers are square...
Is there any way to add another long footer that will sit across the bottom of every page?

Thanks!

On the main page, Suburbia doesn't display regularly inserted images. They only display when a post is viewed on its own page - not on the front page. Only two posts with featured images in them display there side by side.

To have front page image display you need to set a featured image to each post and make each post a sticky post. The size of the featured image does matter. The featured image works best with images at least 350 by 248 (width, height).

We recently changed themes and are now using "Suburbia," which we like a lot except for one thing:

Best practices mandate having sharing icons near the top of the main blog page. We have been unable to add our icons anywhere near the top of either the main landing page or the individual post pages.

The upper righthand corner displays the tagline text (Settings > General), which does not accept html. This is wasted space for our blog.

When I insert a bulleted or numbered list on my Suburbia-themed blog, it publishes the list with a different font than the rest of the body of the post. I'm not setting any type differences in the editing window and have tried re-setting the list text to "paragraph" but it still publishes as if I've selected a non-default font for the list.
