There is another trick where you use positioning to position a text widget in the footer area for your text, but this can be a bit tricky and won't work cleanly on all themes. It depends on the structure of the markup (XHTML).

I'm building out a website for a new product, and I'd like to add a disclaimer above the WordPress copyright and theme info at the bottom of the page. I'm using the Suburbia theme and all of the footers are square...
Is there any way to add another long footer that will sit across the bottom of every page?

Is there a way to put a border around the featured images?

Is this option available in the dashboard of WP.com anyway?

On the main page, Suburbia doesn't display regularly inserted images. They only display when a post is viewed on its own page - not on the front page. Only two posts with featured images in them display there side by side.

To have front page image display you need to set a featured image to each post and make each post a sticky post. The size of the featured image does matter. The featured image works best with images at least 350 by 248 (width, height).

My intention is to have the pages direct to the actual pages, as use the categories as a filter for anything marked with that corresponding category.

I changed to Suburbia 2 days ago. It renders 2 sticky post, which is right to me, and then 6 or 7 posts instead of ten, which it's weird.

Best practices mandate having sharing icons near the top of the main blog page. We have been unable to add our icons anywhere near the top of either the main landing page or the individual post pages.

The upper righthand corner displays the tagline text (Settings > General), which does not accept html. This is wasted space for our blog.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a workaround? (Keep in mind we do not have access to the raw code.)

Is this intentional? I hope not, since it looks odd and inconsistent. Is it possible to correct the font back to what the rest of the post looks like? If so, how?
