Hello,

I am currently working on a website using the theme Suffusion Version 4.4.6.

I am having trouble keeping a header button I inserted in place. If you re size the window it will crawl on top of the banner image.

View the site HERE.

Here is the CSS.

#header_icons {

float:right;
padding-top:5px;
width:258px;
padding-bottom:10px;

}

#header_icons img {

float:right;
height:76px;
width:258px;
margin: 25px 175px 0px 10px;
margin-left:10px;
position: absolute;
right: -1px;
top: 20px;
z-index: 3;

}

One more issue I am having with the header is eliminating the padding from the header banner (superhero) so there isn't as big of a gap between the header banner and the nav. I understand its coded into the theme to position the header image where it is with the padding but I have no idea where to locate this code to eliminate/edit the code itself. Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you.

I'm running two websites, one self-hosted and, recently, another with wordpress.com. I was quite shocked to discover that the available wordpress.com themes are not only limited, but the best and most customisable themes are not among them.

Themes such as Suffusion or Weaver are a must. Without highly customisable themes such as these, you're extremely limited in what you can do with wordpress.com hosting.

Now, even if one buys all the upgrades, with self hosting you can do everything you can with wordpress.com and it has a number of advantages that make it more versatile:
- You can use and modify any theme
- You can use plugins
- Fpt access
The only drawback is that it requires a little more technical knowledge. Even when buying the wordpress.com updates you're very limited in what you can do; why not buy self-hosting with the same amount of money?

That's why I believe wordpress.com needs to include the most versatile free themes available. This would increase the appeal of worcpress.com hosting.

Yeah - I am primarily focused Suffusion for its default appearance...nice and ordered looking. Surely 'TheThemeTeam' wouldn't compromise the overall appearance when adding a theme...
As for all the nice features we can only hope they will make it through.

@thesacredpath; is the theme on your blog (attached to your username) a customised three column WordPress theme or your own creation?

Suffusion is a nice theme although I have doubts all the different capabilities would end up here. There might be some stuff that will be disabled. I've seen that in the past with other themes. I would like to see it here also as long as they keep a lot of the features. If they strip out a bunch of stuff then it wouldn't be that much different from a lot of the stuff that has shown up here lately.
