The answer is, however, the same, really. Staff suspend blogs that are aggregators all the time, even if all they aggregate is your own content.

This is a very strange thread indeed...

First, I have no Idea why I was randomly accused of all known sins altogether - the posts I'm trying to consolidate are MINE (as in "written by me") and not "link dumps" or other cyber-trash of that sort. I thought I made it clear in the original question.

Second, your advice is exactly the opposite to what I was trying to figure out. Maybe I was not clear enough in stating the question, but I am trying to bring all my writings to HERE, not to feed them out to other blogs. Hence, the WP feeds won't help me any...

You can, however, use the RSS widget to put them in the sidebar.

If you want to populate your blog Posts automatically with a RSS feed that can't be done here - that is a favorite tool of Spammers - and is expressly forbidden by the TOS - no auto posting

You can put a RSS widget in your sidebar but that is all - or you can do excerpts by hand onto a Post or Page

Hello,

I have a blog here at WP.com and I also follow a technology oriented web site (and occasionally write some articles for them). They are willing to give me an RSS feed of whatever I ask them for, and I would like to incorporate it into my blog somehow. Ideally, I would like to have a separate post for each entry but any other way may work too... I went through each and every setting I could find and there is nothing that would deal with RSS. Could you please help?

PS. @sacredheart - please spare me from the shpiel on duplicate content, I know all that but I do need to consolidate it somewhere and I would much rather to do it here at WP.

It seems this is a Facebook issue and Facebook Staff are aware of the issue. If you have further information or your issue differs from what's been posted in the Facebook Help Center then I think you ought to post it there.

The publicize option is authorised for Facebook. Done the disconnect and connect to no avail.

In relation to the link you offered from Facebook, I don't believe that this is the issue because it never publishes to my wall.

I am sure it is not a coincidence that the problem has arisen since the introduction to the new timeline. My gut feeling is that it may have something to do with the fact that when sharing the link, it's not sure which 'group' to share it with on Facebook (e.g. Friends, Family, Public etc)

But it doesn't reappear - it's not even in my activity log. NB had to change the way blog posts are posted to FB to make it work, but is still in beta... the wordpress ones don't post at all. If they did, they would be in the activity log, but they aren't.

I don't know how NB fixed it, but may be the only real solution... I know they post as links now instead of app messages. It's a problem with a lot of the apps I've noticed though.

The timeline issue is a Facebook issue. I went to the Facebook Help Center and found this for you Profile/Wall (Timeline) http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=188968437817774#Content-on-my-Facebook-profile-disappears-and-reappears.

Are you using Publicize? If so then please see above.

Alternatively you can use Networked Blogs http://www.networkedblogs.com/ or RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer.

RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify.

You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

I tried that... I've noticed that on the home page, the post appears, but not in my timeline or activity log... so they are getting there, but not where they should be

Are you using Publicize? If you have a connection failure which frequently happens then please try the full reconnect procedure detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.

I have noticed this as well.

Since getting the new timeline my posts are not publicizing on Facebook. I have to do this manually for now.

Does WordPress have any idea when this is likely to be resolved?

So since getting the new FaceBook timeline, I've noticed that my blog posts aren't reaching FaceBook... I disconnected and reconnected and checked th activity log but nothing was there. We had this problem on NetworkedBlogs with my Blogger, but they reached the activity log, if not the timeline. My wordpress seems to have just vanished, but still gets to Twitter successfully >.>
