Nevermind....ive just figured it out. It was because I did not have titles for my quotes. I post motivational quotes, sometimes without titles and that's why they were not showing up in the tab under recent posts. I've added titles to my quotes and it's all good now.

This issue is resolved.

I'm not sure exactly what I did to mess this up because it had been working fine before...but now my tabbed widget only shows 3 Recent Articles when I have it set to show 5. If you click on the 'Hot Topics' tab, it shows 5 articles, but the 'Recent Posts' tab only shows 3. I want it to show 5. Anyone else using this theme and having this issue? Like I said, when I first put it up, it was fine. I must have done something to screw it up. If anyone can help, please help. Not that big of a deal, just annoying. Thanks

Thank you, timethief, for your suggestions. However, as a freebie WP.com blog, I am unable to make any changes to such things. I really have no need to upgrade so that I can make changes to the CSS as I have no interest in doing those sorts of changes.

What I have done, in lieu, is to change the theme colour to Grey, which, when seen with the various elements in that colour-theme, is obviously the first colour choice for which the theme was produced. It kinda fits in now, and I am getting used to it. It seems that the various Grey elements as part of the theme was not changed when the other colour themes were made.

What I will do is make a feature request post in the Themes forum, which is where I think I should have placed this question to begin with.

For a block of text enclosed in a colored background (like the example), you can use this code (in the html post or page editor, or in text widgets). Please see here. > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/09/19/background-color-to-text/

Also if you were to combine the two smaller images and place them one on top of the other in a single image then they will have a better appearance when aligned side by side with the taller image. http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-alignment/

Hi, Have just changed to the Mystique theme. Unfortunately, I am unable to find anywhere in the Appearance section of the dashboard on how to change the background colour from the darkish grey of this widget. It's such a distraction from the clean, clear design of the rest of the theme and, I think, spoils the overall look to have this clunky dark grey area in the sidebar. Is it possible to change that colour, please? I am a WP.com blog. Thanks!
