But if my post is an image, and it is related to painting or some relevant things which are not written or can't be found in the content... for example, if a painting is watercoloured..the tags can be like painting, traditional art, watercolour. Now one needs a human's brain to understand the relation of those tags, because nothing else can detect a painting method. But according to the tag system, those 'watercolour', 'traditional art' sound irrelevant, because search-engines can not found those keywords in content... isn't it?

NO! Absolutely not. Excessive tagging triggers search spiders instantly. They can detect if your keywords Categories/Tags are actually found in your content or not. These days search engines pay more attention to your keywords in your content than they do to your keywords in Tags/Categories. In fact they don't use categories/tags except to detect tag spamming AKA as spamdexing.

All reasons for non-appearance of posts on Topics pages or Reader can be found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts

The rule of thumb is to assign the least combined number of relevant categories and tags that accurately describe the post content.

Search engines treat categories/tags in exactly the same way so if your use the same keywords as both a category and tag you are spamdexing.

So, my second post seems to have worked, but I still didn't see my own posts in the tags, at least not an hour into the posting. I got my auto-tweet, and hits started rolling in. Now at least one of my pics (it's a photo gallery) are registering as bad addresses for another user, though when I click on it, I get exactly what I'm supposed to. This is all very strange. I just don't know if WordPress is having problems, or if something in my account is conky-wobble, but I am having a lot of technical problems with this one post.

I noticed that the screen said my server was busy for a few minutes and I should refresh. I tried that several times, and it never changed. After scrolling around it appears that the post went up, but none of the tags I used went into the reader, because my post is not appearing in any of the categories I fed into it. I'm not getting the usual spike in the first 15 minutes after posting, so something is wrong. It looks like my post is up but no notifications went out. is that a temporary hiccup or do I have a deeper problem?

Seeking help from all WordPress gurus.
'm stuck on following error.

How to display and filter custom categories and custom tags in custom post type?
I have registered custom post type:
register_post_type('portfolio', array(
'label' => 'Projects',
'description' => '',
'public' => true,
'show_ui' => true,
'show_in_menu' => true,
'capability_type' => 'post',
'hierarchical' => false,
'rewrite' => array('slug' => 'portfolio'),
'query_var' => true,
'has_archive' => true,
'exclude_from_search' => false,
'supports' => array('title','editor','excerpt','custom-fields','comments','revisions','thumbnail','author','page-attributes',),
'labels' => array (
'name' => 'Projects',
'singular_name' => 'Project',
'menu_name' => 'Projects',
'add_new' => 'Add Project',
'add_new_item' => 'Add New Project',
'edit' => 'Edit',
'edit_item' => 'Edit Project',
'new_item' => 'New Project',
'view' => 'View Project',
'view_item' => 'View Project',
'search_items' => 'Search Projects',
'not_found' => 'No Projects Found',
'not_found_in_trash' => 'No Projects Found in Trash',
'parent' => 'Parent Project',
),
)
);

I have registered custom taxonomies 'cat' and 'tags' (different from blog taxonomies):

register_taxonomy(
'cat',
array (0 => 'portfolio',),
array(
'hierarchical' => true,
'label' => 'Categories',
'show_ui' => true,
'query_var' => true,
'rewrite' => array('slug' => 'cat'),
'singular_label' => 'Category'
)
);
register_taxonomy(
'tags',
array (0 => 'portfolio',),
array(
'hierarchical' => false,
'label' => 'Tags',
'show_ui' => true,
'query_var' => true,
'rewrite' => array('slug' => 'tags'),
'singular_label' => 'Tag'
)
);

I have page with template file portfolio.php in theme`s page-templates folder.
I tryed to make custom template pages like: cat.php, portfolio-cat.php, archive-cat.php, archive-portfolio.php, but newer wordpress founds this template, just shows 404 page.
If i display the_terms( $post->ID, 'cat' , ' ' );, it shows right categories, but linking to blog (domain.com/blog/cat/residental [residental = category]).
My site uses Multilingual Press Plugin with Network Sites for it.

I'll appreciate any help
Thanks.
