Quick question for you experts: I'm adding Sticky Notes to our main page, and finding that the little blurb before the "Read More" button is running too long. However, I don't know how to edit the text in the Sticky itself... seems to display the introduction to the post itself.

I'm trying to modify certain text from my WordPress site but I can't find how - I can see its code with firebug and its location on the CSS file but I can't see the 'text field' in there!

I was wondering if anyone knew the CSS code so that all the excerpts on the front page (which I have added using the 'excerpt' box in the post dashboard, not the 'read more' function) is justified.

At the moment the text is centered.

I am using the Triton Lite theme.

I'd like to give each piece in my portfolio more space on their pages. Currently im trying do hard return in my edit page or entering commands in text, but they dont stay?

If you're working with page content, you can add extra space using the HTML editor. Example:

<img style="padding-top: 3em;" src="YOUR_URL" />

Or you can do it with the CSS editor if it will be the same for every portfolio page and you can find a common selector to use. Find the outside element for the thing you want to add space above (i.e. an image or a gallery) and add some CSS similar this except replace YOUR_SELECTOR with the selector for whatever you're trying to add space to:

YOUR_SELECTOR {
     padding-top: 3em;
}

Adjust the 3em value as needed.

If you need help finding what selector to use, reply and link to an example page.

Below the header image, there is a menu line/tabs for pages (in my case: Blog - liseliten etc.).

The tabs USED to have black text (they are now white), and when mouse over (hover), the background USED to get white (now gets black).

Did wordpress change something? How can I change it back, when the css code is the same as before?

I just purchased the Full Frame theme and am trying to get things set up before I make my blog public. I am currently working on the fonts and have a question. In the description of the theme's Text Options it states, "The design of the standard post format shows the post title, date, excerpt and featured image. The Text Options feature (see above) allows you to further adjust the positioning and color of the text that overlays the featured image. Sweet, eh?" I am able to control the positioning of the text, but I do not see any ability to control the color of the text as it states in the theme's description (see quote above). Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

That's called spamdexing and search engines like Google and will bury you content where the sun don't shine for doing that over-tagging.

The rule of thumb is to assign the least combined number of categories and tags that accurately describe the post content.

Id also like to move the header image up to be even with the sides of it.

I've been blogging on a Mac and was recently made aware that my blog looks horrible when visited on IE!
I've read threads on images disappearing and text looking odd, but I can't even see my text!

I don't paste text from Word - I noticed that could've been a problem. I write directly in the text box WordPress provides.
