Important note: CSS editing is theme dependent. In some themes, meta data elements such as dates, times, categories and/or tags, author, date, and perhaps even the “leave a comment” link cannot be hidden independently, as they are in the same selector as all the other meta data elements, which means if you hide one, then you hide them all.

Is there a way to completely remove the date and time stamp from a blog post? I just want it to disappear...I don't have any upgrades, but using the pilcrow theme I can change around the settings to not display a date and time by just putting a "\" in the "custom" field, but unfortunately doing that still leaves the spacer dot between the date and time, and it is in a grey shaded box.

I'd like to make this go away, but am not sure it is even possible. Thanks.

No. The Custom Design upgrade allows you to edit fonts and CSS only. You can change the appearance of a theme, but not its HTML markup, PHP code, or content. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions

On being sure things are fully possible, there is a preview mode on the css editor that can be used to view your changes even if you don't have the css upgrade. This enables you to see how the changes you make affect different pages on your site. You also can get your money back if you do buy the css upgrade and decide you don't like it.

Removing date/timestamps, etc. If you want them removed from the slider, the full post, and the post excerpt in the recent articles section, and and to remove the navigation to previous and next posts, try this:

#nav-below {display:none;}

I would like to remove the following aspects of 'posts' within the oxygen theme

1. Timestamp on the slider
2. Aspects: 'Timestamp', 'by', and 'in' from the top of the post itself

e.g:
November 4, 2012	· byAgent 57 · in Services.

3. Links to subseqent and previous posts from the bottom of the post itself
Perspective on your cable infrastructure conditions →

I am looking for complete reasurance that this is indeed fully possible before I go on to purchace the custom CSS upgrade

I have spent a number of long hours making friends with theme to get it the way I would ideally like, and these outstanding items are the final pieces of the puzzle for me.

I have a strange problem and I'm hoping that I'll find the remedy here.

If I create a normal post, and I'll try to upload a photo, it just doesn't work. No error message, no blank page, no nothing. It looks like the photo was added, but it isn't in the post, nor in the ftp at the address where it should be.

If, after I've created the post, I'll change its date to September (or any other mounth before) and after that I'll try to add a image, it works normally.

What the heck is happening?
