To answer your original question, you cannot add timestamps using CSS only, but most WordPress.com themes display a timestamp for posts by default.

Unfortunately that's not possible here because you will need to alter the theme templates.

I believe that the elements you are referring to are found in the template. See here:

Removing date/timestamps, etc. If you want them removed from the slider, the full post, and the post excerpt in the recent articles section, and and to remove the navigation to previous and next posts, try this:

#nav-below {display:none;}

unfortunately we can't help you here on WordPress.com forums, as you are self-hosting using WordPress.org software. It's different.

I have a strange problem and I'm hoping that I'll find the remedy here.

If I create a normal post, and I'll try to upload a photo, it just doesn't work. No error message, no blank page, no nothing. It looks like the photo was added, but it isn't in the post, nor in the ftp at the address where it should be.

If, after I've created the post, I'll change its date to September (or any other mounth before) and after that I'll try to add a image, it works normally.

What the heck is happening?
