When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles the sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.

Fixed means the width of the theme does not change according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.

Fluid means the width of the theme changes according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.

The Fresh & Clean theme is responsive so that means it doesn't dish out a simpler version for phones that are not up to the standard of ipad, etc.

My Samsung, and others like it, are not capable of handling a full website (that is heavy on javascript & code) and therefore fail to load my website - surely that will block a lot of visitors to my site?

I will look at unresponsive themes.

My Samsung GT-S5230 touch screen phone tries to load my site, but after about 40 secs it 'times out' and nothing is on the screen.
Surely my site ought to dish up a lightweight version if it is unable to load it?

No amount of visiting the blog from unassociated PCs triggered publishing.

Same as before, once it goes into missed schedule mode no matter how many times you change the publish date/time to the future it will always miss any future schedule. Even if you set it 2 days in the future.

It is shocking that it's not fixable. Here's how to fix it:

  • Get your devs to search your code for 'Missed schedule'
  • Remove the line to display 'Missed schedule'

    It never ends. Sometimes you reshedule 1min in future. Sometimes it works. Today this one failed 5 times before I gave up.

    Of course it means NOBODY GETS NOTIFIED of the new post.

    This has been here for 3 years now.

    How can you write software that checks a time,and is capable of knowing it is 'Missed schedule', but then DOES NOT TAKE ACTION TO POST IT RIGHT AWAY?

I just want to make every email subscriber a happy person, and potentially waking them up in the middle of the morning is a bad strategy.

    HOWEVER, when I am going to domain / store / upgrade in wordpress, it's still saying that it resolves to the old DNS so i cannot do the upgrade. Any ideas??

    I don't know the difference between a regular RSS feed and an Atom feed, so I can't explain why one works and the other doesn't. And if the regular RSS feed is picking up stuff from 4 months ago, why isn't it picking up stuff from more recently?

    Can you get the RSS feed to work in Yahoo?
