We have mapped it to the domain http://www.indiepressday.com

I've noticed a few things that worked under the original WordPress.com URL, that don't seem to work when you're on indiepressday.com. Trying to figure out if these are quirks related to the Mystique theme or if something's set up incorrectly?

1) The site title does not appear at the top of the browser window. If you go to http://2013event.wordpress.com the title displays correctly, but from http://www.indiepressday.com there's no title visible.

2) The Facebook and Twitter buttons don't work. From http://2013event.wordpress.com/ they work fine. From http://www.indiepressday.com they just load a blank page, unless I right-click and open in a new window (which isn't intuitive!)

3) Clicking the Indie Press Day header takes you to 2013event.wordpress.com, not to http://www.indiepressday.com. Not intuitive (we don't really want that WordPress URL to be visible to visitors, that was the point of domain mapping...)

4) I can't figure out how to link to a specific page from within the indiepressday.com domain. On every page, the URL is http://www.indiepressday.com with no subdomain. So for example, if I wanted to send someone straight to the contact page, I should be able to use the URL http://www.indiepressday.com/contact but that just sends you to the main page. (Of course, http://2013event.wordpress.com/contact works just fine, but isn't the URL we want to use.)

Are there known solutions for these issues? They all seem to be related to the domain mapping but I'm at a loss for how to resolve them.

I'm having trouble getting the title and tagline I want appearing in search engines and Facebook shares. When I set up my blog, which right now focuses on promoting an event, I used a "mystery" tagline, knowing that I could change it anytime in general settings when it was time for the mystery to be unveiled. So I did... and the old tagline and title (which was also changed) still appear in search engines. Both appear fine on the browser's tab, but the older texts appear in searches and FB shares. Where do I find this older texts? Where does Google, FB, etc. go get this, so I can change it to what I already confgured in the general settings?

This is quite annoying because the old tagline simply makes no sense anymore, due to the communication plan set up for this event. Thanks in advance for any help!

Edit the post and look in the far right hand column under the post attributes box for post formats. Choose "standard". Then click "save changes".

1. If I am only going to use a couple of the social icons, is there a way to have them centered in the sidebar, instead of to the left?

This will center-align the social media icons at the top right of the sidebar in the Adelle theme:
