You need both because on the home page the post titles are links and on the single posts they aren't.

I don't see the "9 thoughts on this post" and the "leave a reply" text at http://cupofchic.com/ am I looking in the wrong place?

If they click your name it should still take them to the post.

@siobhyb is correct that the Carousel CSS gets loaded after the Custom CSS. To get around that, you need to make your custom CSS more specific than the CSS used by the final stylesheet loaded. One way to do that is to use a more specific selector. For example, if you change ".jp-carousel-titleanddesc-title" to ".jp-carousel-titleanddesc .jp-carousel-titleanddesc-title" then it should work.

Give this a try:

.jp-carousel-titleanddesc .jp-carousel-titleanddesc-title {
	font-size: .85em !important;
}

If so, you can target the title by including the following in your CSS editor:

.jp-carousel-titleanddesc-title {<br /> font-size: 1em !important;<br /> }

The one you wrote is, indeed, the title for the slider text on the front page.

.featured .entry-title a {<br /> font-size: 1.6em;<br /> }

This code targets the font-size of the title on the images in your site's slider. You can adjust the value in the font-size to your wants and needs.

To do that, use ".home" as a selector. Here is an example:

I heard back on your question. The title does not display in the WordPress.com reader if the first 15 characters of the post content match the first 15 characters of the title content. This is why your shorter titles (fewer than 15 characters) are showing titles in the reader, but your longer ones are not.

I am trying to adjust the color of my widget titles (ex. the "Contact and "river conditions" on my homepage) in the CSS form. I looked around for some answers but could not execute it. I tried using the ".widget-title" and the "h1, h2..." Not sure where I went wrong. Any insight would greatly be appreciated!
