The short answer to your question is "no;" if you would like more information, please read on.

The Tumblr importer for WordPress assumes that you will be leaving the content on WordPress/WordPress.com or a system that understands WordPress content if you are to export that data later.

When you import images from a Tumblr blog, they are placed into a gallery automatically and the method you are using to import that into Blogger doesn't "understand" these galleries or how they work.

Is there a way to redirect traffic from Tumblr to the new WordPress account?

At this time, no. However, if you use a custom domain on Tumblr, you can set up domain mapping and point your domain to your new WordPress.com blog. Here's more information on that upgrade: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

Otherwise, you will have to post a link on your Tumblr blog directing your readers/followers to your new WordPress.com site.

Also, we don't have any way to take your Tumblr URL and direct it here, but there may be something that Tumblr could do on their end. I recommend checking with them.

Will all images be pulled over ok?

We try super hard to make sure that all your Tumblr content, including your images, are imported into your WordPress.com blog. Videos you had uploaded to Tumblr are imported into VideoPress and other embeds are converted to use shortcodes. Sometimes the importer finds an embed it can’t convert and a list of these is included in the import completion email for you to check.

I recently moved to wordpress.org (with bluehost). The transfer was ok except that my subscribers did not move across with everything else.

A closed forum thread on wordpress.org (link below) says that wordpress.com staff have to do this for me. Can someone help me out?

So if I get this right, I must burn two e-mail accounts to create two new wordpress.com accounts and then transfer the pro account and the one with multiple premium theme purchases and sundry upgrades to those accounts. Correct?

And in doing so, will said pro account and other transfer intact, with all upgrades et al? Or, must I... wait for it. purchase a redirect?

I have read and watched videos about the above and still have these questions.

Bottom line. I currently pay for three blogs, upgrades, coms, premium themes and such...but in essence, your across the board single username and display name, means I have one posting place pimped out in this or that display.

Real bottom line. I want to give you cash and be a content provider. What more to you want. Make that easy.
