um, might be a stupid question, but i can't find a thread similar... i have a dotted line before my solid line at bottom of page before my social widgets... when i use 'inspect element' i still can't find how i broke the code here for it to be visible. Anyone good at detecting that kind of thing? Thank you

Ok, I understand what you're asking. But I don't know if you can make a menu item an image.
What you can do, is move those widgets up! I grabbed your social media widgets and pushed them up, so you may need to adjust accordingly.

First, increase your page width.

#container {
width: 900px;
}

Then target the widget CSS:

#widgets {
border-top:1px solid #CCCCCC;
float:right;
left:1100px;
margin:0;
padding:20px 0 0;
position:absolute;
top:203px;
}

That should get you to a point where you can start to tinker and get what you really want.

basically am coverting a page to be a language icon in the form of a spanish flag, where i'll create a page to be a mirror of all the content but translated (as wordpress.com doesn't translate).

I tried creating it as a widget, but then it is amongst all the other widgets on the bottom left. I worked out how to move all the widgets to one side and closer together, I just couldn't work out how to move one away from the others, so i've tried doing it as a page instead and sit it after the 'about' page/menu bit. But here i don't know how to change the title into an icon.

I hope that makes sense?? thanks

Well, maybe, depending on what you're asking. You can make your site title an image, yes. You'd do that like this:

#site-title a {
    background: url("http://starsbynight.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/molino-antigua.jpg") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
}

I took the first photo on your page and made it the background. It only fills the space that the site title takes up, though, and if you delete the text, the available space for the image goes away, too, so you'll need to add padding to the above CSS to create a block that's the right size. Something like padding: 50px; creates a upright rectangle in the middle of that space.

I'm not sure that you can make an individual page have an image that isn't used by all the pages, though.

is it possible to customise a page title to use an image instead of having text? I have tried using the other option of using a text widget, but then i have problems trying to code for only one widget to be moved away from all the other widgets. Or could that be done instead? Am using Chunk theme. Thank you in advance
