After playing Youtube video on website, there are two share buttons at the top instead of just the usual one. I can click both and they overlap each other. Does someone know how to fix it back to just display the one normal share bar after playback?

I don't mind having another WordPress blog(Though it would take awhile to figure what I should do with it...) but if I want just one, should I just delete the wordpress.com site and keep the site that has my domain on it?

Suddenly I log in to make a new post and everything I did was reset. Brand new blog, no former entry, no custom headers, completely different. So I tried to make a new post. I tried to save the new post then suddenly and error occured. I hit continue and suddenly my old blog was back. My old post was there and everything... I said ok and rewrote my old post and posted it back up thinking it was fixed.

Back on today to check the status on everything and BAM! Back to the second blog with the old post I tried to save and the header gone. WHAT IS HAPPENING!?

Apparently I have two blogs both named danseibert.wordpress.com. Can someone help me get it back to one blog... preferably the one with both my posts...

One WP.com account can have multiple blogs.

You and your friend should create separate WP.com account logins (separate email addresses). Create one public and one private blog, then add your friend as a user for the private blog.

Today I visited a friend's blog, and when I tried to add a comment there I was asked to log in via WordPress. But my usual ID/password was not accepted. So after several attempts, out of frustration I clicked "Lost your password?". A few minutes later a message arrives in my email box, to enable me to reset my password.

BUT - this message shows a different ID (let's say my usual ID is "mickf", and this message shows "mickfraser123"). Why would a message come to MY mailbox with a different ID?

Anyway, I click the Reset Password link in the message, which takes me to a log-in page showing this new ID. I re-enter my usual password and it is accepted.

So the situation now is that I can still login to my blogs in the old way. But to log in via WordPress from my friend's blog, or directly from wordpress.com, I have to use this new ID plus my old password.

How can I kill off "mickfraser123" and reinstate "mickf" for ALL my WordPress activities?

Thanks for any advice (the WP suppport team is away till August 15).

You can use is as a mirror blog for backup purposes. You can test any theme changes your contemplate in it, etc. IMHO making the visibility "private" and retaining the blog is a better plan than deleting it is.

Please note that since deleting the blog is permanent and since WordPress.COM will not let anyone use that blog address again (not even you), I recommend you just set that blog to "private" in case you change your mind later.
