According to this WordPress website (http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/), I should see the option when creating a gallery, a pull down menu under "Type" to define how a gallery should appear. However, when creating a gallery in my own post, I do not see this option. I only have the options under GALLERY SETTINGS for Link to, Columns, and Random order, but no Type.

I have logged out, closed the browser, relaunched, all of that...no help there. I am using WordPress 3.5.1 on an iMac. I created a new post and titled it and saved it and tried to do a gallery there as well. No luck. Same problem.

This blog is not public yet. I am working on it locally for now before publishing.

This should not be an option for certain themes, correct? But a universal option for ALL galleries?

How do I fix this problem?

Connaissez-vous la requête qui permetterait d'afficher les articles par ordre de taxonomy 'type' ?

I have been adding copyright info into the Meta data in photoshop, imbedded in the jpg files. But I just downloaded my own image from my blog, and I'm shocked to discover that the Meta info was not retained in the copy! Yikes.
