I went to settings > media. It says large is set to a height and width of 1024. But there is not number in the box for width on maximum size on auto imbeds. What number should I put in there? And should I change the number from 1024? I don't see full-sized as an option on that screen at all.

Go to settings > media and define an image size to use between medium and "full-sized." Full-sized BTW is not actual full-sized, but the maximum width for the theme that you are using.

If I under stood you correctly you have opened up the page to be edited via the editor and clicked where you want the photo.

After uploading the photo did you click » "insert into post" button then click » "Update" on the editor page ?

I am trying to put a jpg image on the first page of my blog..

I have multiple problems with this so far and no image shows when I preview the page. I have three uploaded images - all the same image - but nothing is showing.

According to the adding image instructions.. I was supposed to go the edit page.. and put my cursor at the page where the image is to be uploaded.. I put the cursor there and clicked upload image.. I did that (not sure I did it right) and no image shows..

Can anyone help me upload my image (it is jpeg image). The image is just a face shot but it is about 700 by 500. I don't want the image to cover the full screen.. Just about a 2"by2" square in the upper right (or left) corner of the front page.. I have tried the full size and thumbnail and whatever I select.. I still see no image on the edited page.

Brand new at this and could use some help! (:

I just did that with mine at misspreservation.com and it seems to work fine. I didn't come up with this on my own--I had a group feed in my Flickr badge and noticed that it had this language at the end of the string while the set string didn't. Hope it works for you!

Yes, you can. However, doing so will only result in the image titles being displayed within your widget. That is, no thumbnails will display (like when using the feed of your Photostream). This makes the use of sets with the Flickr widget rather unattractive. You can find the feed URL to a particular set by viewing the respective set and following the steps as outlined above.

I'm not an expert on the Flickr widget or Flickr itself, but I believe you put the feed of your Flickr account in the widget and it then works off that. What you might check is if the SET you want has its own Flickr feed, and put that in. Please report back whether that works or not. Many people are interested in more configuration options with that widget.

I'm finding that I can't just click the square 'add image' button to insert a photo as when I enter the Flickr URL, the timer whirls and a red cross comes up seeming to say that the link hasn't worked.

The only way I can add an image is to embed the code taken from the 'share this' button on Flickr and the caption function on this is ugly.

Am I missing something
