PDFs cannot be included in galleries.

I have a quick question that my upload/insert button's malfunction. I am not really sure when this started happening but I believe jquery conflicts with the wordpress. When I mouseover the image, it has a target link, but when I clicked it nothing happened.

I assume this happened because I installed the ultimate TinyMCE but I am not really sure. Anywho, to solve this I tried deactivate/remove/reinstall the plugin and also tried to reset plugin folder under the wp-contents as what others said on Web but I got no luck so far. I even loaded the jquery 1.7.2 version in addition to the current loaded version (1.7.1)

The browser shows the error message of "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'apply' of undefined" with jquery-ui.js:71.

I will be very grateful to you if you come and give me a suggestion to solve this matter.

On the new post page most of the buttons are not functioning when pressed. The only ones that seem to be working are the ones inside the blue box related to formatting (bold, underline, etc.) The upload/insert symbols above, the add tags, scheduling, etc. do nothing when pressed. As I said earlier, everything has worked flawlessly for over two years, I've made no recent changes other than to post 1-3 times a days, and this problem started yesterday morning.

If no one else chimes in, how would I go about contacting WordPress or are the forums my only option?

Another suggestion I would have is to reduce the image sizes in the sidebar so that they don't hang over the right edge. Some browsers may have an issue with that, in particular Internet Explorer, which has no sense of humor at all.

BUT, the link worked when I selected text. The Insert/Upload add media did not. I cleared cache and then the Insert/Upload add media worked like a charm!

FF 3.5.x is the current release, and FF 4.0 is either in alpha or beta testing.

If you are using a alpha or beta release of 4, then that could be an issue. WordPress never does any compatibility updating for browsers until the full release. It is like trying to hit a moving target.

I've noticed that once in a while, if I highlight some text, and wordpress does an autosave between my highlighting the text and then clicking the link button, but the link button will be inactive. I just highlight the text again and it becomes active.

Typically when there are issues in the dashboard, logging out, clearing your browser cache and cookies, restarting your browser and then trying again will solve the issue.

What browser and browser version are you using?

When I create a new post, or edit the draft I created, I can see the visual editor, but the Upload/Insert toolbar is completely missing, so I can't add photos to my post.

I'm running Firefox 3.5.2, I have Google Gears installed and enabled for WordPress (though the problem existed before I installed Gears), and I'm on a Windows XP machine. My wife is running Firefox on a Mac, and does not have this problem--the picture upload toolbar is right where it should be for her.

Thanks for any help you can give me on this problem. I'll be happy to send you screenshots or anything else that might help you troubleshoot this.
